Deceit's New Pet

Patton ran all across the mindscape until he found Deceit sitting on the couch in Thomas's living room.

"De! Guess what?" Deceit raised one eyebrow as a answer while still flipping channels and Patton continued talking. "Roman showed me how to summon cute animals!"

"How wonderful."

Patton gave a confused look because he could not tell if Deceit was lying or not.

"So, you are happy for me?"

"Yes." He added a hiss at the end to show that he was lying. "You would not be tempted to never shower the mindscape with hundreds of puppies and kittens."

Deceit had a horrified look on his face as the smile grew on Patton's face. He just gave the most terrifying idea to Patton.

"You forgot a cute animal I would summon." He snapped his fingers and a Boa constrictor appeared in Deceit's lap. "A cute danger noodle."

"I can decide between happiness or insulted from what you didn't call this beautiful snake."

Now, Patton takes any moment to summon Deceit's new pet. Much to Roman's disapproval.

"Kaa! Are you not here?" Deceit was looking under the couch for the snake.

He heard a loud girly scream and turned around. Kaa had Roman wrapped up in a hug and Roman was close to fainting.

"Deceit, get your slimy snake off of me."

"Kaa, he loves your hugs, don't let go of him."
Kaa decided to rub their head against his neck and Roman grew as pale as Virgil.

"Please get your snake off of me."

"Are you not terrified of snakes?"

"Why do you think it is so hard for me to fight the Dragon Witch? Patton is terrifed of spiders and I am terrifed of snakes. That's why I never look directly to your face."

Deceit put his hand on Roman's shoulder and Kaa slid off and wrapped around Deceit's body.

"Falcons." was all Deceit said before walking away.
