Deceit was done, he was never taken as the serious side. Just the liar, the freak, the evil side.

Everyone even started liking Remus more because certain people fit more his creativity. So, Deceit decided to do what he thought best for Thomas's survival. He knows when Thomas lies about enjoying events he actually hates. He helps the other sides lie to themselves to make themselves feel better. They don't care, so he ducked out.

"How is everyone's day today? My day is terrible!" Patton said and his eyes widen in shock.

"My day is horrible! I am the main one that helps create the ideas for Thomas's videos and my insane brother is more popular than me!" Roman shouted and then he covered his mouth.

"I am the one that helped you and the 'dark side's are the ones that people side with even when they are logical wrong." Logan said and then he realized something. "Oh! We cannot lie anymore!"

"If no one can lie, does that mean something happened to Deceit?" Thomas asked.

"Not being able to lie is not good, I can't say I am right when I know I am wrong anymore." Patton was confused as he talked as if he wanted to say something completely different.
"We need to talk to Deceit. This will only go down hill faster, the longer he is gone."

"We are not on a hill, we are in Thomas's house."

"Not you!" Remus appeared and shouted in Patton's ear.

Everyone screamed at his appearance.

"Why not me? I did cause a lot of Deceit's pain." He was just as shocked as everyone else at the truth.

"You want Thomas to be seen as the perfect good person, but the more perfect the person is, the more in pain that they are."

"I'm going to make celebratory cookies for when you bring him back." Patton said as he walked into the kitchen.

"How would I get to Deceit's room?" Thomas asked.

"Think of the easiest lie that you can think of and focus on it." Logan told him.

**Deceit's POV**

I was curled up in the corner of my room because I was lying to myself.

"Deceit, are you here?" Remus asked.

"Wow! Deceit's room is amazing!" Roman said as I looked at them.

"You think every room is amazing." I hissed out.

Roman screamed as I got up, I already knew what I looked like to them. Fully scaled face, longer fangs and both eyes were yellow. My gloves were off and my claws and scales were showing.

"What happened to you?" Thomas asked as he looked at my form.

"Thiss iss what happenss when I duck out and pullss all the liess away from you." He couldn't stop the hiss with every s letter.

"Everyone lies, there is no stopping lies." Remus told Thomas. "Patton is one of the worse liars here in the mimdscape."

"I hate to agree with my brother but he is right." Roman said as he picked up a script off the floor. "You always say that you are not good enough. But people still remember you for Heathers."

"I am a problem with that." Virgil told them. "I am so worried with what might happens if he flies too high and gets burned by haters."

I was searching around for my gloves as they talked.

"I am so sorry if we made you feel unwelcome. I will try to understand you better because you are needed." Thomas said before pulling me into a hug.

"You are okay with hugging a monster?" I asked as I slowly hugged him back.

"I don't know, I would have to hug one first."

I didn't realize I was crying until Roman handed me a handkerchief.

"To make you feel better, I recommend we play a game called two truths, one lie when we get back to the living room." Logan said as he left the room.

"I can practice my acting!" Roman shouted before sinking out with Remus.

"I am sorry for my attitude towards you. You remind me of the past that I am not proud of. I was pushing all of my hate for myself onto you and you didn't deserve it." Virgil told me before sinking out.

"How do I get out of your room?" Thomas asked as I felt the scales leaving my arms.

"Just think of the simplest truth. Like your eye color."

We sank out and came back to the normal living room.

"Welcome back Dee!" Patton came running over with a plate of cookies.

All of the cookies were sugar with yellow icing in the shape of my symbol.
