What is Gender?

Deceit and Emile have an interesting significant other. Most days Remy is full on male. However, today is one of the other days.

Remy was hugging the coffee machine as Deceit and Emile tried to figure out was wrong.

"Remy has been acting odd." Deceit said as they looked at their strange other.

"Yeah, but only on certain days." Emile pulled out his clipboard. "Interesting, it seems that Remy gets affected by male pronouns on these days." He blinked a few times before smiling. "Dee, try going up to Remy and use gender neutral pronouns."

Deceit took a deep breath before walking into the kitchen.

"How's my darling mate doing today?"

Remy stopped and turned to look at Deceit.

"What did you call me?"

"Mate?"

He got tackle hugged by Remy and had to use his extra arms to grab the doorway.

"My theory is right." Emile said as he stood next to them. "You are having gender neutral days."

Remy froze with the coffee pot ready to throw at them. They set it down before looking at their hands.

"I get that you might want to leave me because you both are clearly attracted to guys."

Deceit and Emile looked at each other.

"I think we are both Remysexual." Deceit said as he walked over to Remy. "Male, female, both, neither, or just Coffee. I love you for you. Not what gender you are."

Emile pulled out a camera and then ducked as they threw the coffee machine at him.
