The Other Side vs Don't run Away

Logan was sitting on the couch watching Virgil interact with the other sides.

"His beauty's crazy. I watch him from the crowd. His voice is so amazing. He make his Papa proud." Virgil and Patton were trying to eat pancakes with no hands. "I tried to send him flowers. But he has no address. His home is in my heart. It's like he never left."

Remy walked into the room and saw lovestruck Logan. He slid to the couch next to him.

"Boy, you better not make that stupid sigh." Logan does the lovestruck sigh. "That's it. Right here, right now. I put the offer out." Remy pointed at laughing Virgil. "I don't want to chase you down. I know you see it. You run with me And I can cut you free."

Remy pulled Logan's hand and brought him to his room. They started looking for outfits that Virgil would like.

"This is more than a crush. More than a like like more than a love. Baby I'ma make you mine And I ain't giving up."

Logan was worried that Virgil didn't like him because he doesn't see the point of Disney.

"Gurl, you sound more depressed than he does. Out of the drudgery and walls you keep in." Remy pulled out a leather jacket. "So trade that typical for something colorful. And if it's crazy, live a little crazy." He waved over Logan's outfit. "You can play it sensible, a king of conventional Or you can risk it all and see."

"Don't run away. Don't run away from the truth." Logan was staring at the jacket before taking it. "Cause I'm not giving up on you."

"Don't you wanna get away from the same old part you gotta play." Remy started pulling out more outfit pieces. "'Cause I got what you need, so come with me and take the ride."

"Shawty you got fire. But I'm preaching to the choir. I know you know. The whole world is watching you."

Logan grabbed his new outfit and went into the bathroom to change.

"It'll take you to the other side. 'Cause you can do like you do Or you can do like me." He gave Logan some makeup. "Stay in the cage, or you'll finally take the key."

"Uh, they say true love is blind. That real romance is timeless." He looked at his new self in the mirror. He smiled at memories of Virgil. "You're like my favorite movie. Play it and rewind it."

Logan walked out of the bathroom and Remy whistled at his new look. He was still wearing his tie and glasses but with a loose button up and ripped skinny jeans. He was wearing the jacket and black eyeliner.

"Oh, damn! Suddenly you're free to fly. It'll take you to the other side."

Logan walked out of the room and walked to where the other sides were in the living room. He stopped as he saw Virgil.

"Cause baby you're the finest. Your love I'm gonna find it." He sighed at the sight. "And when I do, I'll run away with you. Somewhere where they can't find us."

"You would finally live a little, finally laugh a little. Just let me give you the freedom to dream," Remy said right before he pushed Logan towards Virgil. "And it'll wake you up and cure your aching. Take your walls and start 'em breaking."

Virgil looked at Logan's new look, up and down, before turning a brighter pink than Emile's tie.

"Normally I couldn't turn your head. That's why I had to write this instead. Let's be friends, start out slow. Get to know you beyond your glow." He took Virgil's hand. "You're more than meets the eye. Boy you pterodactyl fly. Way back when you knew my name. The truth is what I bring." He rubbed the back of his head with his free hand. "You make my pituitary gland go into overdrive."

Remy had to look up what he meant on his phone.

"Damn! That is nerdy and cute. Forget the cage, 'cause we know how to make the key
Oh, damn! Suddenly we're free to fly."

Logan pulled Virgil into a hug.

"Don't run away. Don't run away from the truth. 'Cause I'm not giving up on you."
