Patton VS Remus (Musical)

Mother Knows Best vs I won't say that I'm in love

Remus is dating someone and he is afraid of the sides finding out.

"If there's a prize for rotten judgement,
I guess I've already won that. No man is worth the aggravation. That's ancient history, been there, done that." He was in his room pacing. "Why must I like someone!"

"Likes you? Please, Remus, that's demented." Patton said behind him and he jumped three feet. "This is why you never should have left the dark part of the mind. "Dear, this whole romance that you've invented. Just proves you're too naive to be here."

Remus backed away from Patton. He had a look of fear on his face. It was a new look for the dark creative side.

"Try to keep it hidden." Patton got closer to Remus. "Honey we can see right through you. Girl you can't conceal it." Patton was making the insane side look sane. "We know how you're feeling. Who you thinking of?"

"Why would he like you? Come on now, really! Look at you, you think that he's impressed?"

Patton moved his hand to gesture all of Remus. His hand hovered above his throat.

"I thought my heart had learned its lesson. It feels so good when you start out. My head is screaming "Get a grip boy". Unless you're dying to cry your heart out." Remus pushed Patton away and then held his head. "No! He likes me for being me!"

"No?! Oh, I see how it is. Remus knows best.Remus's so mature now. Such a clever grown-up Mister. Remus knows best."

Patton pushed him to the ground.

"Who you are is how you're feeling. Baby we're not buying. Hon we saw you hit the ceiling." Patton wrapped his fingers around his neck and held him up. "Face it like a grown-up."

"This is why he's here!" He pointed to his crouch. "Don't let him deceive you! Give it to him, watch, you'll see! Who is it?"

Remus stopped fighting Patton. Then he got a spark in his eye before pushing Patton away.

"You're way off base I won't say it. Get off my case I won't say it."

"Trust me, my dear." Patton snapped his fingers. "That's how fast he'll leave you. I won't say I told you so."

Remus pushed Patton out of his room and shut the door. Then he slid down the closed door.

"At least out loud I won't say I'm in love."

Patton started pounding on the closed door.

"If he's lying. Don't come crying. Mother knows best."

Remus waited until the footsteps disappeared before falling flat on his floor.

~Bonus Scene~

"I'm sorry Remus for being mean!" Patton was hugging Remus's leg. "Author told me to do it!"

"Stop! Ew! Get away!" Remus was trying to shake him off.
