Shedding

If there was one thing Deceit hated the most in the world. It was when his skin, on the scale parts, started shedding.

He became cranky and short tempered as he tries to scratch the loose skin off. The sides have to work together to help him.

"Keep me up!" Deceit was shouting as Roman tackled him in the living room.

He was getting to the point of hissing more than Virgil.

Thomas decided to video tape as Roman grabbed Deceit's arms, Virgil and Logan had each leg. Patton started the bath.

He started howling like a wild animal as he got stripped to his underwear.

"Kiddo, stop acting like you are five years old."

He hissed at the response. Remy held the bathroom door open and had to help push him when he summoned his multiple arms.

"I will make it so you cannot sleep for a week if you don't get in." Remy threatened and Deceit stopped fighting.

"Note to self, we need to use Remy more often." Virgil said as they dropped him in the tub.

Deceit was silent as they scrubbed the loose skin off.

He was grumpy for the whole week after the bath incident. Remy would sit next to him and pet his scales.

"How do you keep your scales so soft?"

"I try to get rid of any dead scales and it keeps my scales soft."

Deceit fell asleep as Remy was petting his scales. Patton walked in and pulled out a camera.

"Gurl, if you wake him up. I will make you regret it."

"I know! But he is so cute!"

A few months later, he started shedding again. Everyone turned towards Remy.

"Go take the bath or nightmares for a week."

Deceit gave him a pleading look but all Remy did was point towards the bathroom.

"Yes Master."

"Gurl, I'm a Coffee Goddess. Bow to me."

Deceit mooned Remy before walking into the restroom.

"Does Deceit hates baths or something?" Thomas asked Remy.

"No, he hates how sensitive his scales get after. Every small touch, even breezes affect his scaled spots. He also hates clothes for a while after that."

"Poor Deceit. I did not realize that his scales caused that much pain for him."

Deceit came out the bathroom, looking shiny, and fell into Remy's lap. Remy dodged the scaly spots as he petted his hair.
