Roman vs Deceit (Musical)

Two Player Game vs Come Alive

"You stumble through your days. Got your head hung low. Your skies' a shade of grey." Deceit told Roman as he pulled him away from his room. "Like a zombie in a maze. You're asleep inside. But you can shake away."

He took Roman to the living room and handed him a controller.

"Is this?" Roman asked him.

"Yes. Cause you're just a dead man walking. Thinking that's your only option. But you can flip the switch and brighten up your darkest day."

"Apocalypse of the Damned!" Roman shouted as they started to play. "Find the bad guy, push him aside. Then move on forward with your friend at your side. It's a two-player game, so when they make an attack. You know you got a brother, gonna have your back."

They continued to play and Deceit was smiling. Roman was overworking before and needed to relax.

"Sun is up and the color's blinding. Take the world and redefine it. Leave behind your narrow mind. You'll never be the same." Deceit was laughing as Roman died in the game.

"Then you stay on track and--
Ah!" He got surround by zombies. "Remain on course, And if they give you a smack, you-- Gah!" He got thrown by a large zombie.

"Come alive, come alive." Deceit attacked the zombie and revived Roman. "Go and ride your light. Let it burn so bright. Reaching up To the sky And it's open wide. You're electrified."

As Roman got thrown, he landed next to the exit point.

"And if you leave your brother behind, it’s lame. 'Cause it's an effed-up world.
But it’s a two-player game! Hey!"

Roman turned his character around and fought the large zombie next to Deceit.

"When the world becomes a fantasy
And you're more than you could ever be. 'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open And you know you can't go back again. To the world that you were living in. 'Cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open. So, come alive!"

They finally beat the level after a few weeks of playing. Roman tossed the controller down and laid back. Deceit copied him after saving the game.

"Dude, you are cooler than a vintage cassette."

"No more living in those shadows. You and me we know how that goes."

"But it's no big, 'cause you and I are a team."

They gave each other a high five before taking a nap on the floor.
