As you woke up you reached your arm over in order to cuddle Ydris, but your arm just landed on the blanket beside you. You opened your eyes and realized that Ydris wasn't laying next to you anymore. You sat up and strechted yourself, letting out a sleepy yawn.
"Looking for someone?~" Ydris' cooed.
"Holy-!" You almost cursed as you jumped in surprise. You turned your head to see Ydris standing in the doorframe with an amused look.
"A bit jumpy, are we?~" He teased as a smirk grew on his face.
"Oh shut up" you whined in a playful manner and got out of bed.
"Good morning, beautiful~" Ydris smiled as you gently wrapped your arms around his strong body.
"Good morning" You softly smiled back. Ydris pulled away and bend down to place a small peck on your lips.
--Time Skip--
Once you two were done eating breakfast you went outside. [H/N] cantered up to you with happy attitude.
"Good morning deary" His/Her mood got rapidly dimmed when he/she saw Ydris emerge from the wagon behind. You only stroked [H/N]'s nustrils, hoping it would calm him/her down.
Ydris laid a hand on your shoulder, which earned a harsh snort from [H/N]. You let out a sigh and turned to Ydris, who was smiling thoughtfully at you. I wonder what's going through his head?
"Ma chérie, I forgot to thank you~" He said. This caused you to get confused.
"For what?"
Ydris stepped closer to you and gently put his hand on your cheek as he started rubbing it with his thumb.
"For bringing back my beloved Zee~"
Should he even be thanking me? You thought. After all I'm the reason this happened to her.
[H/N] rested his/her head on your shoulder and pulled you back lightly, bringing you out of your thoughts.
"It was no problem, really" You eventually responded, presenting Ydris the warmest smile you have. He looked at you in a way no one looked at you before. He looked at you with admiration, in a really loving way.
Ydris placed a small, light kiss on your forehead and said "Fly away now, my little dove. You have much to do."
You wondered what he meant for a few seconds before it hit you. You were supposed to be at a meeting right now. Too late, it's probably almost over. Jesus, Elizabeth will be pissed as hell.
You nodded and placed a kiss on Ydris' cheek and whispered 'I love you' before mounting [H/N] and galloping off.
You rode down to the Moorland Stables to help Maya out a little. It's been a while since the two of you talked together and you were excited to see her again.
"Hey Maya!" You exclaimed as you approached her.
"Hey [Y/N]! Nice to see you're still alive!" Maya joked.
