|~Your POV~|
The purple smoke disappeared and the fresh night air caressed your skin. The sudden change of temperature caused you to get goosebumps all over your body, but you didn't care at this moment. Your mind was somewhere else.
You still were being embraced by Luka and Linda as endless tears escaped your eyes like waterfalls. Linda rubbed your back and Luka ran his fingers through your hair.
"[Y/N]" [H/N] whispered. You lifted your head and saw him/her standing mere meters in front of you, his/her eyes full of pity and sadness.
You slowly hoisted your shaking body up from the ground and walked towards your horse, gently placing your arms around his/her neck, pulling him/her close.
[H/N] pressed his/her head against your back and you instantly felt safe. Your loud sobs turned into quiet whimpers as the salty liquid in your burning eyes became less. "You're okay deary, you're okay" [H/N] comforted you.
Linda placed a hand on your back and said "We should head back to Valedale" in a soft voice. You looked at her and thought for a moment before you shook your head.
"Take Concorde and go ahead. I need some time alone"
Linda nodded and Luka and her left the meadow along with the greyish foal, but not before giving you worried looks.
"You're not planning on going back in there, do you?" [H/N] asked concerned. You remained silent for a few seconds, simply staring at the purple tent. "No [H/N]... It's over... there's nothing left..." You breathed quivery. You hopped onto [H/N] and galloped off towards Greendale.
The whole ride was silent, almost uncomfortable.
As you and [H/N] arrived, you took a few unoriented turns and walked through a few bushes before coming to a stop.
You dismounted [H/N] and sat down on a tree, closing your eyes and letting misery and hurt overcome you. There was a hot breath on your face and you opened one eye just to see your beloved horse's face, looking at you with worry and sympathy.
All of a sudden it started raining and you let out an annoyed grunt. "Seriously? Rain? Where are we? In a stupid cliché wannabe romantic fanfiction?" You chuckled at your own joke, but soon let your head drop again. "Only that this fanfiction doesn't have a happy end..." You whispered.
"Don't worry deary, we're all here for you and we all love you. As long as you have us, we'll make all your days a happy end, I promise" [H/N] spoke encouraging. A smile formed on your face and you looked directly at [H/N], cupping his/her soft cheeks.
You leaned forward and placed a kiss on [H/N]'s nose, whispering "I love you..." as you leaned your forehead onto his/her one.
You two remained like this for a while until your eyelids grew heavy and fell shut. Your tired body slowly dozed of into a deep sleep, your forehead peacefully resting onto [H/N]'s one.
--Time Skip--
The warmth of sunlight was palpable on your skin. You also noticed that you were being carried by someone. Cautiously, you opened your eyes.
"Luka?" You asked tiredly. He looked down at you and smiled.
"Good morning" He greeted softly as he carefully placed you back down on the ground. You looked around in confusion until you saw the horses. Luka seemed to notice your confusion and chuckled. "You fell asleep in Greendale last night"
