Parker's Facinorous Nature

Nick texted Liam who surprisingly was up at this time of the morning. It wasn't long until we had to change over to Skype so that Liam could join our video call. It felt weird, we were all back together again but not. Each screen in a different state with its own comeback.

"Guys, I went out to get my grandma some things, and when I got back, a package was sitting on the kitchen table. I asked my grandma, and she said someone delivered it earlier."

"Someone...did she know who it was?"

"No...she doesn't remember—she didn't even remember the package, only until I took it and shoved it in her face and asked what was inside."

I frowned at the reminder of Liam's grandma. She had Alzheimer which the person who delivered to them probably knew because neither Benny or myself were in our dorms when our parcels were delivered.

"Well...open it then!" Nick scolded Liam who was still in his old room. I remembered when all four of us were in there. Benny and I still together on Liam's bed as we tried to crack the case of Christo Aimar and not get caught. Nick staring at Liam's insane crime wall that grew every time we had new information. While Liam was still in that same seat.

I couldn't see behind him because his room was as dark as Benny and Nick's. Liam slowly raised the box with raised eyebrows. Benny scoffed while Nick yelled at him to continue. I already knew what was in there. I couldn't think of any other evidence that we might not have or destroyed already. Liam took his time to raise the lid, and I yelled in unison which seemed to frighten him. He dropped the box on his desk then gasped.

"What? Now we can't see, you idiot!" Nick growled as Liam held his breath and pulled the sleeves of his hoodie so that it was over his hands. He raised the item, and I let out a shaky breath. There it was. The murder weapon, in Liam's hands. Benny and Nick already knew it would be that, but their expressions were still cold. Benny turned away while Nick's jaw clenched. He stared at the heel as if he could make it disappear with his ocean blue eyes.

"Alright, I have something too," I said and got up to fetch my box. When I sat back down, I began to explain my entire night. From the time I received a phone call from Levi who said Parker escaped to when Parker dropped me at my dorm. I hadn't left anything out, and it somehow felt good that I told them everything.

"Wait, so let me get this straight," Nick said and pulled up a chair beside Benny then sat down but still leaned forward as he tried to process everything. I looked at Liam's side of the screen, and his eyes weren't on us as he stroked his chin.

"Parker came to you dressed in a weird and kinky devil costume after the dress was delivered. He threatened you to go to a party with him...you guys drank and danced. Then he dropped you off and got picked up by who you assume was Marcus?" I nodded to which he added, "And he barely said a word."
