The room filled with darkness quicker than I thought. The video ended so suddenly that it left us speechless. No one said anything which I'm glad. It was all too much to absorb. Even though we knew part of it. To hear it all from one of them made it sink in entirely. For a year and four months, they've kept this from us, now everyone knew. The lights turned on and I found Ethan at the top of the stairs. He glanced down the corridor and back at us. "I'll go check if Aidan is okay."
They were gone for a while and still, none of us spoke. Ethan probably filled Aidan in on the last bit. Carter continuously ran his thin fingers through his hair, Jaden munched on the bag of mini cookies, the only sound that annoyed the hell out of me whenever he reached into the bag. Axel sat with folded arms and stared at his lap.
"So, what happens now?" Carter asked once Ethan and Aidan walked into the cinema room. Ethan looked distraught, his face sunken while Aidan wore a different hoodie that emphasized his clenched jaw.

"We give that to the cops. Clearly, that kid ain't right in the head." Jaden pointed at the screen with a cookie in his hand. "Talkin' about that body and sh*t. Aidan couldn't even take the thought. Psycho ass probably wants to be in jail."
Jaden was right. There was something clearly wrong about Liam. The Liam that we knew and the one we saw in this video seemed like two completely different people. We always shrugged him off for being goofy and oblivious. Little did we know that in his room, he looked like a crazy mastermind who thought about his parents work the other way around. Not being the lawyer but the client.
"We can't do that to Liam, they'll probably send him off to a madhouse after seeing the video." Aidan dropped to the seat beside Jaden and took a handful of cookies. "Besides, how will it make things better? Lana and Benny will still be convicted. Nick took a plea deal...it's too late."
"Yeah, it'll probably make things worse," Carter said and glanced at Ethan. "With the Miranda thing too."
"I don't believe that James is Miranda's dad." Ethan shook his head. "It can't be..."
