"You ready?" said Jack, sitting in the boat they were riding. He was holding a basket of flowers that Rapunzel places on top of the water. "For what?" she asked him, not lifting her head up from her work. "For, you know, the lights. It's been your long life dream, hasn't it?" he said, moving a little closer to her. The flowers were kind of running out.

"Yeah, it is," she said, smiling. "Then why do I feel like you're hesitating?" he gives her a smirk. Rapunzel dips her hand in the basket. No more flowers. She slowly looks up to face Jack. "Well, I might be. A little," she said, giggling nervously. "Why?" he asked, the smirk turning into a concerned expression.

"Well, like you said, it's been my life long dream. I've waited for this day to come... & I am very grateful for your help, Jack. I really am. It's just that..." she pauses as she turned away from Jack. He moves in closer so that he could hear even the slightest whisper from Rapunzel.

"After I see the lights, then what? What do I do next? I achieved my dream. Is there anything else I'm supposed to do...?" she tells him. "Well, that's actually the good part," he said in a soft smile. She looks back at him, "How?"

"You get to find a new one,"

Then, from the castle's balcony, flew a single white lantern marked with the golden sun of the kingdom's crest, which was released by the king & queen. Following their single lantern were many more lanterns of similar appearance from the kingdom. Some of them came from the boats that sailed to the city.

Rapunzel then ran to the side of the boat, nearly making Jack fall into the water. She admires them as some of them went down to the lake. Jack clears his throat to catch her attention. She immediately turns to him & sees that in his two hands were two lanterns. She sits down in front of him. "You got some for us," she stated, taking one of them into her hands.

"Ready?" he asks her & she nods. Then, at the exact same moment, they let go of the two lanterns & began to float along with the many lanterns hovering around them. Jack & Rapunzel watched them. A peculiar thing about these two lanterns were that they weren't seperated as they floated higher & higher into the sky, which Jack noticed. He was looking up longer than Rapunzel was. She was very excited to see them up close.

When Jack lost sight of their lanterns, he looks at Rapunzel as she tries to catch his attention. She looked beautiful with flowers in her hair, a smile on her face & thousands of lights surrounding her, he thought. She was pointing towards a small lantern which was falling near the water. She reaches out for it & lifts it up again so it joins the others.

"Jack," she says gently, "thank you," she says, smiling brightly. "For what?" he asks her. "For this. Thank you, thank you very much," she says. "Your welcome, then," he said. "Since you helped me with my dream, can I help you with yours?" she said, holding his hands. Jack was surprised at this action of hers for a small time, but he smiles & said; "You already did," he takes the oars & rows their boat to shore.

Rapunzel was perplexed to hear that. She already did? What was his dream, then? Did she already grant that along the way without knowing? Probably. But, she just decided to go along with it. "Let's camp out tonight & early tomorrow, let's head back," said Jack, rolling a broken trunk of tree next to a tree that stands tall. "Okay. Let's look for firewood," she said. Jack nods & both of them went along.
