MARA's POV
Today's the day. Ngayon na ang interview namin ni Athan. Andito na kami ngayon sa backstage at nagre-ready. Todo-support naman ang mga Samaniego na dumayo pa talaga dito sa studio, well maliban kay kuya Aire, pero si ate Liza ang nandito on his behalf raw. Andito rin sina Timothy, Cal, Boni, Warren and Sulli. Support daw nila ako. As if naman na this is my first time doing live interview on the television.
"Okay, live ine 3..2..1.."
"Good morning! Welcome to ****Show. Today we have very well-known guests, the famous Photographer Athan Samaniego and the Teacher-Model and Advocator, Maria Agatha Fuentes! Good morning to the both of you." Nakangiting bati ni Samantha sa amin.
Bumati rin kami sa kanya atsaka nagpatuloy ang interview.
"So, Ath, I can call you Ath, right?" Tumatawang tanong ng babae at tumango naman si athan.
"Can you tell us about you and the infamous Yoana Tolentino?" Diretsang tanong ni Samantha. Ngumiti lang si Athan tsaka tumikhim. Ayan, kinikilig na yan eh.
"Well, I wish I could tell you anything but right now, I want to keep everything onto ourselves." asus pasuspense pa. For sure wala lang masabi kasi basted parati.
Madami pa syang tanong kay Athan samantalang pa-showbiz naman ang mga sagot ni Athan. Athan, he's really professional, yung pagiging baliw niya, natatago niya. Nakakabilib nga, you can see Athan as a serious and respected person on screen and in public with other people but when he's around us, his family, para siyang kiti-kiti.
"So, Mara.. You've been a model and a college teacher at the same time?" Samantha asked. Okay, nabasa ko to script.
"Well, yes. I've been modelling since last year but I only does modelling for Athan here, and all my modellings are always related to my advocacy towards learning and education." I answered.
"So, what can you say to those young people out there who are not attending school?"
"Tama pong hindi lahat nabibigyan ng pagkakataong makapag-aral at magkaroon ng tamang edukasyon but everyone has the right to learn. To those people who are not able to study, we can all learn on our everyday living. Let's not give up on life. Because life is all we've got when we are hungry and scared."
I heard claps from the crowd na pinangungunahan nina Tim at Calvin. Mga pasaway talaga.
"We've heard that You and Athan, along with the Samaniego Clan are huge advocators of the LGBT Community? What can you say about this?"
"Well, yes. We've been on it eversince. We just want to spread love." nangingiting pahayag ni Athan.
"We are aware that LGBT Community has become bigger and because of that, our society became more judgemental. We just want to send support to the members of the LGBT Community, for them to stay strong. Kahit di sila tanggap ng mundo, we want them to know that there are still people who accepts them."
True. si kuya Mau ang nakaisip neto. Buti na rin dahil alam naming makakabuti ito at makakatulong kami sa nakararami.
Marami pang tinanong si Samantha like our plans this summer vacation na sinagot lang namin ng "We haven't figure it out, yet.'
tapos nagtanong sya if we have ideas about going to the industry na nag no comment lang kami.
She also asked if Athan plans on pursuing music specially now that a video of him singing a Korean Song is going viral on Twitter, Youtube, Facebook and even on Naver and IG.
But he just said..
"I have no plans on pursuing music. I was just inspired by the original singer of that song. Besides, I'm a photographer, not a musician."
