A/N : Surprise! I know another one so soon! I was inspired so I thought I would post it early. Hope you all enjoy!

A normal day at school. At least as normal as it would get. It has been about three years since I have hidden my ears. Every day since I have wanted to rip the ribbon, that pinned my ears down tightly, off my head. Most of the kids at school forgot I was a faunus. Some didn't even know I was a faunus. Over the past year I will say I have matured a lot. I started to train in fighting by my care takers last year. So I guess you could say I know how to take care of myself.

As I was walking through the halls I went to find my friends Ilia and Weiss. Once I found them we went to hang out for lunch. "What do you guys have planned for the weekend?" I asked. Weiss tilted her head and started to think about my question. Ilia on the other hand had an answer right away.

"Nothing actually. I was planning to go to the park but it might be raining this weekend." She said sadly. I knew she loved the outdoors. It was her favorite place to be. Now that I was thinking about Ilia had started to move away from our group of three. Days like this were actually rare. Most of the time she would hang out with these other girls.

Weiss then piped up. "You know I don't have anything to do either. We should have a sleep over!" She suggested and smiled. I then thought about it. After that I nodded my head excited about the idea. "Who's house should we have it at though?" Weiss asked. "Preferably not my house." She added.

While I was sitting on the picnic bench outside I started to answer. "I mean we could do . . ." Before I could finish a nudge at my back made me lunge forward forcefully. "Ahhh!" I closed my eyes for a second. When I opened them I looked down to see my blouse stained with ketchup from my sandwich. All of a sudden I hear laughing behind me. I narrow my eyes. Not only had I matured more but I also became less of a victim.

"Look the animal can't even eat properly." They jeered. "She should go back to the wild where she . . . AHHHH." I smirked. While they had been talking I decided to remove my ribbon. That wasn't what they screamed at though. I twitched my ears back and picked my fork up. With careful concentration I threw it behind me. It embedded itself into the wall beside the girls face.

Slowly I stood up and turned around. "This so called 'animal' can hear you. She can also tell you to knock it off and grow up." I glared at the girls. They were shaking in their shiny, girly, pink shoes. "Now leave before I throw another." I say threating. Quickly they run away not saying another word. I turn to my friends. "Sorry I will be back. I need a few moments." They nodded their head. That was the thing about my friends. They were always so supportive. They gave me space when I needed it.

"Ok just come find us when you need us." Ilia said. I nodded my head and waved. As I walked away from the table I planned on heading to the library to clear my head. I passed by many people. Most of them gave me weird looks. Some were disgusted while very few were sad. Why they were sad? It beats me. I continued to walk. Before I even make it to the place I wanted to be I hear my name on the loud speaker.

"Cheshá Amaranth. Please go to the office." I had heard the voice before. It was the same voice every other time the loud speaker came on. A sigh escapes my lips as I walk to the office. The scowl on my face from earlier disappeared. Instead there was an expressionless look. I start to walk to the office. My footsteps clicked against the floor. People were starting to spread rumors. After walking around I could tell. Plus, with my ear uncovered I could hear them.

Once I made it to the office I put on a fake smile. One of the school secretary's looked up and flinched. I don't think she was expecting to see a faunus enter her office. "Cheshá Amaranth?" She asked. I nodded my head. "Ok head into the principal office." I nod my head. The lady looked sorry for me. I hated it. When I walked in I saw the girls from earlier. They all had smirks on their faces. I glared and the smirks left instantly. That gave me the time to smirk myself. The girls ran away quickly to enjoy the rest of their lunch.
