A Girl and Her Bull

Chapter 6

A/N : The surprise is a second chapter! I've had some of these pre written so I thought I would publish it! As always enjoy!

As the days pasted Team CHOM got to know each other better. Onyx and I became good friends while Hunter and I started to become something closer. Onyx and May seemed to be getting closer too which worried me. 'I wonder if Adam has talked to her about it?' I ask in my head watching the two of them at lunch one day. I shrug my shoulders and decide to go and see Weiss and Blake. Onyx, May, and Hunter staid at our table while I walked over. On my way over there I was stopped by none other than the school bully, Cardin Winchester, surrounded by his Team goons. I roll my eyes. "What do you want Cardin."

My ears twitch as he laughs. "Oh nothing. I just wanted to see if these were real." With one of his large hands he reaches for my ears. Little does he know that this little fox is very cunning. As he reaches forward I quickly use my speed to switch places with one of his team mates. The bully ends up pulling his team mates ear. I just chuckle to myself and start to walk away. Cardin, with a speed I didn't know he was capable of, rushes in front of me. "Oh so you think that was funny?" His voice had changed from before.

"As a matter of fact I . . ." I wasn't able to finish my sentence. While I had been distracted by Cardin one of his team mates set his leg behind me. With one big shove Cardin knocked me over and I tripped over the leg behind me. "Ow." I fell to the ground and rub my head. When I look up it's too late, one of his other team mates 'accidently' spilled food all over me. I was sitting on the ground with food all over me. Cardin just smirks.

"Hey guys! Come look. I guess the little fox isn't so graceful after all." Soon more of Cardin's friends come over to laugh at me. It reminded me of when I was younger. I quickly get up and run down the hall to the nearest bathroom. Before I leave the room I hear someone yelling at Cardin about how much of a disgrace he is. I wasn't thinking enough to match the voice with a face. I enter the bathroom and make sure no one else is in there. I lock the door and press my back against it.

"Come on Ches he's just a jerk don't cry. It's what he wants." I try to tell myself. Once I stop leaning against the door I walk over to the mirror to look and see how messed up my hair and clothes are. As I start to clean my uniform a few tears fall from my face. "Just think after today is done I can go and make some hot chocolate and cookies just like Mauve and Vester did when I was younger."

I finished getting most of the food off of my clothes and out of my hair. I looked in the mirror again for a minute to make sure I didn't look like a complete mess. That's when the bell rings. I wipe my eyes and pull my locket out. Inside there is still a pictures of Mauve, Vester, and my father. Over the years they started to fade a little but, they were still beautiful to me. I shake my head a little to clear it, then I walk out and head to my next class. Before I walk into class I get stopped by Weiss, Blake, May, Onyx, and the rest of Weiss and Blake's friends. For the next few minutes all I got was a lot of 'Are you ok?' 'Are you hurt?' 'Don't listen to Cardin he's an ass.' That's when I noticed that Hunter wasn't there. "Guys? Where's Hunter?"

Just as Weiss was about to explain, Professor Bartholomew came out of the door. "STUDENTS! It is time for class. Socialize at a later time now inside." We all walked in quickly and took our seats. For the rest of this class period I couldn't pay attention to Mr. Bartholomew's lecture. 'What happened to Hunter? He's not in class.' Then I look over to see if May would tell me. All of a sudden I realized that Cardin wasn't in class either. 'Oh no what happened?' I ask myself.

After what felt like an eternity class was finally over. I got up and walked with Weiss. I guess the rest of the group from earlier thought it would be best for Weiss to explain to me what happened. I was thankful for that because I didn't want a whole big group around me at the moment. "So what exactly happened to Hunter?" I asked her as soon as we were alone in the library.
