Actors Zac Efron and Jessica Vanderbilt are taking on their most exciting roles to date – husband and wife!
The couple tied the knot in an "intimate" outdoor ceremony among towering and majestic redwood trees in San Gregorio, California on Saturday night, PEOPLE can exclusively confirm.
The couple's I dos capped off a relationship that began ten years ago.
"Our relationship started like so many others in Hollywood do - on the set of a movie. The path we took to get to this day certainly wasn't easy, but I don't think either of us would change any part of this journey together. It's made us who we are today, and it makes us appreciate getting to this point that much more," Efron said.
"We dated for some time, and then spent several years apart. Once we found our way back to each other, it didn't take us long to know we were going to be together forever," Vanderbilt added.
With the couple's close friend Seth Rogen officiating, they wed in front of 200 guests on the grounds of the Island Farm, a private, 600-acre estate located in the coastal hills of Half Moon Bay, about 40 minutes outside of San Francisco.
"I really wanted our wedding to feel like sort of an intimate family and friend backyard gathering," Efron says. "I have never had a backyard gathering quite like this, but that was the intention was to make it very comfortable, warm and welcoming."
"Even though everyone was dressed to the nines, we wanted them to feel like they were at home with us, cracking open a beer and sitting around a fire," Vanderbilt added.
