"I wish we could stay here...like this...forever," I whispered against the top of her head as she leaned back into me.

Even though it was brief, we both needed to just take one of those little moments, to just be with each other and absorb everything that had happened

Even though it was brief, we both needed to just take one of those little moments, to just be with each other and absorb everything that had happened.

"But?" she tilted her head back to look at me.

"I have to get back for cast photos," I ran my fingers through her gorgeous blonde hair.  "Everyone will be so excited to see you here."

"Well, we better get out there then," she smiled wide as she stood up, holding out her hand for me.

We walked out of the theater, hand-in-hand, in full view of the public and cameras for the first time in five years.

I approached Hugh at the step-and-repeat and shook his hand - neither of us could stop smiling.

"So, you finally got the girl?"

"I got the girl," I smiled as we posed for photos, and I could not keep my eyes off of her as she tried to blend in with the crowd and not cause a scene.

When I was done, I immediately returned to her side, planting a soft kiss on her cheek and Zendaya came up to us.

"Jess, I'd like you to meet my costar, Zendaya."

"You were wonderful!" she exclaimed.  "It's so lovely to meet you.  Zac has told me so much about you."

"Likewise.  I hear from everyone that you're the reason he did such an amazing job on our duet."

"Oh, no," Jess blushed as she gently shook her head in protest.  "There's nothing he isn't amazing at, he did that all on his own," she smiled at me while giving my hand a squeeze.

As we made our way back to Manhattan, the entire cast and crew made their way to the top deck for another round of photos.  And this time, I made sure my girl was part of the fun.  It was time for the world to finally find out the truth.

Eventually the boat docked in Battery Park.  The party may have been over, but our night, and our future, was just getting started.

"Want to catch up and talk details?" she turned to look at me as we reached the end of the dock.
