"So lets just grab the thing!" Nixie whispered to me as i watched the humans.

"We cant do that, we are surrounded by humans. We grab it when nobody is here, that way we can have one peice done and go to this land peoples school later" I say to her.

"Shes right Nixie, we cant just take it surrounded by humans. It would seem too obvious, plus we might get caught and never get the peice" Melody said. I nodded and so did Melody, Echo was busy talking to the land boy behind the counter. I didnt worry and walked calmly over to the tablet peice again, when nobody was looking i took it off the wall.

Skimming over the glass object i flipped it over to see a small back, i flipped a tiny switch and the back appeared. The tablet was in reach, i took it out of its case and quickly put it to my chest, a human girl who looked my age saw and i quickly turned away.

I ran over to the table and showed the peice, the girl looked at where the tablet peice was and quickly asked Ethan to come over. The girl kept chatting put i looked away "We need to get back to Merrow, get the peice to the underground pool and hide all of them there" I say.

The girls nod in agreement then we take off, i grab Echos shoulders and then we walked off leaving Echo still smiling at Ethan. "Humans arent that bad Lyla" Echo said. "Ethan is nice, but did get suspictious when he noticed the tablet peice missing"

"Most humans are! They dont believe in magic, catch sea turtles and kill off the reefs. I dispise of them, its why i havent been out of the triangle since i was 10, most of the stories about killing off the ocean and its sea life" I snap back.

I then run off the end of the pier and dive into the water, the girls follow after me and i quickly swim fastly towards Merrow. I watch the reef as i pass, small crabs pass by and i see a dolphin in the distance but then i see the cave that must have led to the mermaid pool that was called the Ravine.

When i reach the cave i quickly swim inside and duck my head up the minute im inside the Ravine. When i looked up i saw a gap, big enough for a meteorite to get into, the Ravine was massive, streching very far to the end of the volcano. I swim to the side and see some mer objects, books, jewelery and some of the money we use, i place the tablet peice on the side and the others swim in.

"I didnt realise this place was going to be this big!" Maya said.

I nod and recite the words from the tablet.

"You know, we might be able to get these tablet peices quickly than expected. We have the first peice and we got that within a few hours, we go to the school grab the second peice and get the others" Addison said.

"But theres something else on the tablet. Possibily a mermaid song" I say.

"Or a spell" Nixie says.

"Or a song spell! You sing the spell and something happens, like a Prax spell. But they are powerful and but cant do them until you complete your mer training" Echo says.

I groan and splash the water next to her, "Dont tell me about mermaid school or mermaid training. Im finally resting from that, yet we still need to train" Then i look over to the books that rested on a side "Maybe the books will help us with training, or tell us about the Tablet"
