Echo wandered off the minute we were out of my aunts door. She ran down a hallway leaving me to follow, it didn't take long before she found Ethan. I watched her leave me but I had more things to focus on, finding the pieces of the tablet. I walked around the school, watching the land boys and girls social.

I preferred mermaid school to this.

As I continued to walk around the school Addison and Melody sat on the grass, they were close to water, some of it was coming up out of the ground and I just watched. I sat down and watched the water flowing, it wasn't sea water. Just plain purified water.

When I sat down and looked up to the sky I could finally see it not with rigid lines of the water, but finally clearly. I closed my eyes and thought of home, but that didn't last long.

"Excuse me?" A voice said, I opened my eyes "Your in my spot"

I laughed "Sorry, I was here first. Plus I don't even have your name on it"

I looked up I where the voice was coming from, a blonde haired girl in a dress that is never suitable for any occasion, especially habeo. She had two other land girls behind her, both blonde with nearly the same kind of dress "This is my spot, now move!" The girl shouted.

"No"

The two land girls behind her laughed and then I stood up facing this ignorant shark girl for myself, "Listen, girl. You must be new, but you should know, I own this school. And that's my spot, so if you don't move bad things will happen"

She took a step closer and looked like she was going to push me into the water, but this time I stood my ground. She grabbed me by the shoulders but then I heard a faint "Stop!"

Then the land boy Zach ran towards us, "Knock it off Shayla! She's new!"he shouted at her.

The land boy Zach still had the necklace around his neck, and looked like it had never been taken off. The land girl Shayla backed up a few feet before looking to throw tantrum that a narwal could throw,

"She was in MY SPOT Zach. And i dont give a damn if shes new, she was in my spot" Shayla cried out.

"Actually" I spoke up "Im Mrs Silverfates niece, you called her your principal"

Zach, Shayla and Shaylas shark followers raised their eyebrows "Principal Silverfate never told us she had a niece. Especially if she allows them into school" Shayla said.

Her smirk emerged and Zach slid his arm around my shoulder, i didnt know how to react. "Come on, lets leave Shayla and her minions to thereselfs" He said, we then slowly walked off. My feet dragging behind one and another, we then walked towards a concrete path. Zachs arm then slowly swung off and he sat on a bench.

"Sorry about her, shes always like that. Claims everything is hers, but you will get used to it, so Lyla? What class do you have next?"

"Class? Im, uh, just, visiting. Aunt Rosa is taking care of us for a while" I replied back.

"Us?"

"My other cousins, Addison, Echo, Nixie, Maya and Melody"

Zach looked up my feet began to ache and i sat down on the bench next to him. We sat in the silence, well he did, i kept staring at the necklace around his neck. I had to take it off him, it was in reach but i needed to be careful the slightest slip and i had lost it forever.

"Well Lyla, i hope you have enjoyed your time at Jackson. I best go find Shayla and see if she has cooled off" Zach then got up from his place and slowly started walking before he turned around to face me one last time "Oh and Lyla? Hope to see you at the Ocean cafe"

He walked off, and that was the first time i had, had a conversation with Zach.

"This is perfect!" Nixie said as we entered in to Aunt Rosa's principals room, during the last hour. Echo and Ethan had talked, Addison went to the human libary, Maya and Nixie caused trouble and Melody sat on the grass staring at the clouds.

"You can befriend the land boy, gain his trust and snatch it off him!" She said.

I shrugged and sat down in Aunt Rosa's swirly chair, every time i sat down in it, the chair made me feel dizzy but only when i swirled fastly "I dont know about this. Zach seems like a nice land boy and he doesnt need a mermaid coming into his life then taking something that belonged to him away!"

"Well we need his trust Lyla, and We all must gain it. So we can all have a chance to get it" Addison added.

Nixie and Maya smiled, the two of them looked like they were going to some sort of plan "Now guys, we have to take this easy.Since Lyla knows this land boy, Lyla can introduce us to him give it some time by Lyla taking care of Zach. Then the rest of us search for the other pieces agreed?"

"agreed" We all say.

Then the door opened, a girl who looked much like Aunt Rosa stood in the doorway and there she was, my cousin Celeste.
