"Lyla!" Michael called out "Are you okay in there?"

I put my head in my hands, thinking about what i was going to do. "Im fine!" I shouted back "Just a small incident with my dress!" I thought about using my powers, i turned my tail around and held my hand out against it.

With all my power and might my tail started to become really warm, as the seconds passed i felt as if i was cooking myself with my own powers. But then the minutes start to pass and Michael still stood by the door, when i was up to five minutes i was completely dry and sweating. Soon, i was turned back into my land girl self and i was extremely relieved.

I made a sigh of a relif, i stood up and opened the door to find Michael still standing by the door. But then i heard footsteps against the floorboards,and then just to make things more interesting, Zach appeared from the footsteps.

"Zach!" I said, i ran over to him "Im so sorry, some lan-boys just don't know where the limits are" I was so tempted to say land boy, it was like a word vomit. So tempted to say something and you just couldn't.

Zach looked over to Michael. He looked as if he was about to punch him, I could see something inside of him "Listen Mike, you keep your hands to yourself. Lyla knows better, she isn't like the sluts you like to go after. So stay away from her you hear?"

Michael shoved his hands into his pockets. Then he walked back down the stairs, once we did not hear the footsteps we broke the silence "I'm sorry I had to put you through that" I said to him, he smiled and took hold of my hand.

"Don't worry about it, I think it's time I took you back anyway" He said, I smiled and pouted like a land girl. I wanted to leave so very badly, this land people's party was a disgrace.

"Meu Deus is this what usually happens at a party?" I said as we walked towards the door. "We should tell Celeste that we are leaving, so the girls can find her way back"

He nodded and I went off to find Celeste, she was with the swimming boys. Once I found her she gave me the okay and Zach and I ran out of the party "That party was utterly boring, except about finding out you are a merman" I said to him.

"Yeah, but at least we get some real time to ourselves. We could take a stroll across the beach, go back to my place or go for a little swim?" He suggested, I thought for a minute. I didn't want to go back to this 'place' and I couldn't go for a little swim.

"Stroll across the beach?" I replied.

He smiled and then Zach held my hand as he guided me to the beach. I knew this was bad, we were getting attached and I still didn't have a plan for getting that necklace back.
