Cato left that afternoon, he could travel at much quicker speed than me and he needed to get back for his ceremony but I was left alone in The Ravine. The girls went out to have a victory swim while I placed all the pieces of the tablet together I played around trying to make sure they all went in the same places.

It took me hours to put the right pieces together, Zach's piece was around my neck on the necklace charm. I slid it off and placed it in the middle, I stared at the full Golden Tablet it started glowing radiant colours. I smiled and held it out up towards the moon it was nearly full but I only had a few days until the time would come.

When the day came everybody was afraid, we didn't leave The Ravine for the next few days as we didn't know if something would happen to the tablet. But I was always on guard, my stomach ached even though I had ate some tuna that Nixie had brought back from the Cafe. We watched the tablet never letting it out of my sight Echo spent the days with Ethan not being able to accept that once we become Gildeds and travel back we would never come again.

"Why can't we come back?" I asked Nixie, she was busy combing her hair while I stared at the Tablet.

She shrugged "Because when we become gilded's we have a duty as the new Gilded Queens to protect Bermuda and the other regions. We won't have time to fraternise with land people" She told me.

"What about Celeste and Aunt Rosa? Are we going to leave them behind too?"

"Well we have to abide by the laws. They aren't allowed into the mermaid world, Aunt Rosa failed her quest and she can never return. Celeste is half mer and will never get her quest so they can't come back"

I stared at her, how could she be so clueless? She never listened to the mermaid laws and why would she care now? The conversation left me puzzled as to why a Nixie would say that, she should care about Aunt Rosa and Celeste they will never see our Gilded crowning back in Bermuda. I always knew Nixie was a stubborn merl but i knew she was going to miss something.

As we sat in the silence on the ledge of the rock Melody and Addison arrived back with more food, tuna and oysters "Hey Merlies! We bring food back, better stock up for our travels back to Bermuda after tonight!" Melody said.

Addison waved the bag in the air and set the food out on the side "Oh come on whats up Merls? If it's about tonight and leaving this behind you should be happy. We are getting away from all of this!" She gestured upwards.

I huffed and moved over to the tablet where it lay "I don't want to leave Zach in questions. I don't want to leave Celeste and Aunt Rosa and I don't want to leave Merrow either"

Addison and Melody exchanged looks "Well you can keep moping while we are going to sleep. The moon will be up in a few hours and we need our rest, we have a long journey ahead of us"

I nodded and fell asleep.
