"That's one step closer to gaining his trust" Nixie whispered as Zach walked back towards his land boy friend. I shugged my shoulders yet Maya and Addison agreed, for the past half hour we had lost Echo to Ethan. Nixie got up from her place and started to walk towards the latrines, this was a con of being human.

We had to dispose of our human urine, and that was never pretty. I went back to discussing with Celeste what to do at a party "It's just a place where land people hang out. Dance, drink, make out. But this is a Shayla party which means new outfits that are not too slutty yet will make Zach attracted to you"

I nodded, two members of our group had disappeared Nixie and Echo. But as Celeste carried on talking I heard a loud scream, coming from Nixie. She had somehow bumped into Charlotte, Celeste's best friend and water was all over her, she ran towards the door closest to her.

Celeste and I got up I looked over to Zach. He had gotten up too, Celeste and I ran to the door and so did Zach. "Zach it's fine, she's just drying off" Celeste said.

He raised his eyebrows "In the store room?"

"Yep" I said.

Zach looked alarmed and I walked into the storeroom leaving Celeste to guard the door. I looked down to find myself standing on top of Nixies black tail, I quickly jumped off and kneeled next to Nixie.

"You have got to be more careful Nix" I told her "What if you exposed your tail right in front of everybody, Zach is right outside that door. If he walked in, it would be game over for all of us"

Nixies mimicked without the words coming out of her mouth. I gave her a stern look and she quickly looked away "I'm sorry, I need to get to the latrines but bumped into the land girl. But please just use your water vapour powers to dry me off" She said.

I nodded and sat down beside her, I could hear Zach asking to come in "ZACH! Please just stay outside for two more minutes!" I shouted. Then everything went quiet and I put my hand out over Nixie's tail and used my heating powers to dry the water out of her. I moved my hand up and down the tail.

"Not too hot!" Nixie squirmed "Are you trying to cook me?"

"Sorry but we need to get out of here and fast" I told her.

The door then was barged open by Zach he folded his arms across his chest "Zach we can explain!" I began.

"Explain what?" He said, I looked back to Nixie. She was human again, I breathe out and my heart rate slowed down, we were nearly caught. I pulled nixie back up and she smiled and got to her feet again, we all walked out of the store room and Zach walked back to his table and I walked back to mine.

I sat down with Celeste by my side "We were nearly caught" I said "If Nixie didn't have to be so clueless we wouldn't have been in this mess!"

Nixie got up from her seat. "Nixie wait!" Maya called out "See look what you did"

I shrunk back in my seat, Maya grabbed Nixies arm and then the two of them talked. "How about we all go out and buy a outfit for tomorrow's party my treat" Celeste said.

I nodded, yet more walking.
