One month later.

I was given a piggy back by Zach when Cato appeared again, it had been a month after i turned a Gilded. My hair was covered i gold and blue yet my light blonde hair still remained, my dress always appeared now when i turned back into my mermaid self. Yet when i saw Cato he sat on the sand facing towards the sea.

"Is that your brother Cato Ly?" Zach asked me when he was still giving me a piggy back.

I looked at him, then looked at to where Cato sat. "I belive it is Zach. But what would he want?" I said to him.

Zach laughed "Lyla. You are considered to be a queen among the mermaid realm so if it was about that then i must be superstitious"

I laughed and then he put me down, it was true. Aunt Rosa asked if me and the merls would get a mer ceremony yet nobody came to see us. Up until now, we always thought if a mermaid came for us it would be about our Gilded situation.

"Cato!" I shouted.

I waved and he looked towards me, smiling and then I ran up to him and hugged him tightly "You're back! How's mother? How's Jonas?" I asked.

"Slow down Ly. They're fine but look at you! A true Gilded, I'm in love with these blue and gold streaks. Your hair has grown so much!" He said to me.

I laughed "So why did you come?"

"Well" he began "Seeing as you and your friends are Gildeds now and queens. It is only right to have a ceremony, arranged by Jonas. In the ocean dress up in your most elegant dress and it shall be on the next full moon which is a week away"

I smiled with happiness but then I thought about Aunt Rosa, Celeste and Zach "Can we have the ceremony on land? On the next nearest island? Or on Merrow? Out of sight on the other side, we will be hidden then. I could wear my Gilded dress and crown"

Cato's eyebrows raised and he nodded "Il see what I can do, in the meantime. I have to travel back for the adjustments"

I hugged Cato and he looked towards the sea "I must be on my travels now" he looked towards Zach "Oh and Zach, look after my sister. If you don't you will regret it"

Zach smiled and shook Cato's hand "Don't worry, she will be in good hands"

I smiled and then he ran into the water and dived I smiled and we watched him go, in the distance I saw his tail flip up. He waved I waved back, once he was out of sight so Zach picked me up and have me a piggy back again.

"So miss Lyla Marina Silverfate, gilded queen where to now?"

I pointed towards the sea "To our destiny!" I shouted.

He nodded and then he ran into the sea, I jumped off his back and smiled. Lyla Marina Silverfate Gilded Queen, I like the sound of that.
