THE WEEKS WENT by and soon it was late November, December fast approaching and bringing with it the bitterly cold air. Valentina was however looking forward to Christmas eventually arriving because she was in desperate need of some time off work, as it always got very demanding as the Christmas season approached. People always held more parties and events, which meant that more people needed outfits, which meant that they had to be making clothes at a speed much faster than usual.
It was a cold evening in which Valentina was curled up on the sofa with a mug of tea in her hands. Next to her sat Mary, also sipping a cup of tea. They were in Mary's apartment and Freddie was around upstairs playing the piano, which provided music for the two downstairs. He was playing a repeated melody, it was nice. They could hear him trying to fit lyrics to it, singing different things every now and then.
After a few minutes of them talking, there was a knock at the door. "Oh, I wonder who that is" Mary furrowed her brows and headed to the front door. When she opened it she was greeted by Brian, Roger and John all looking very pleased.
"Oh hello boys, we weren't expecting you-" Mary started.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Is Fred around? We've got some exciting news" Roger spoke, "oh hey Tina!" He added, noticing her presence.
"Hey Rog" she grinned, "Brian, Deaky" she added, nodding to the other boys.
"Fred's upstairs somewhere writing a song, let me go and fetch him" Mary smiled, heading towards the stairs and calling Freddie's name.
"So, exciting news huh? Band related I'm assuming.." Valentina smiled at the three boys who stood in the living room.
"Yeah. We'll wait until Fred's here, but it's really exciting" John grinned.
Soon Mary and Freddie appeared in the living room too, Mary sitting down next to Valentina again.
"So, what is this exciting news you come with?" Freddie asked.
Roger smiled, "tell him, Bri."
Brian coughed, "well, our management has organised a little tour for our album" he smiled.
Valentina, Mary and Freddie all made shocked yet happy facial expressions.
"It's not little! They've booked us to go all over the place" Roger replied, which prompted Freddie to lunge forward and pull all the men in for a large hug. Mary and Valentina just gave each other huge grins
