VALENTINA WAS SO not used to the pattern of being in a relationship, that it felt unnatural to her. The waking up with someone by your side in the morning, the tired cuddles on the sofa in the evenings when you had both been at work all day, making coffee for two people in the morning instead of one, and finding every possible spare moment to steal a kiss and the way those moments would escalate, and then a whole hour had gone by and you would realise you had something important to do and you'd quickly get dressed again and head out to work, or to whatever it was that you so easily forgot about. Valentina loved it all though, as she'd forgotten how good it felt.

It had now been three months of them being together, and there had not really been a single bicker or argument yet, which was a great sign. They were fully submerged in the 'honeymoon phase' and it was pleasant. Valentina had seen more of Rogers different moods by now however, but nothing that put her off. She had seen what he was like when he had been in the studio all day, exhausted and slightly irritable. She had witnessed his temper when he hadn't eaten for a while too long, and she had seen him when he got annoyed at the silly things – like the shower not being hot enough, or his morning coffee not being just how he liked it. But those things didn't bother her, in fact it made her laugh most of time - much to Rogers dismay.

It was a Saturday and they were currently out in a little cafe for lunch. They sat in a little corner booth on leather seats facing each other across the table. Roger watched as Valentina's eyebrows knitted together as she looked down at the menu in her hands, deciding what she wanted to eat.

"You look cute when you concentrate" Roger stated, causing her to glance up. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail, and it was curly today which was different. Usually Valentina just sported her naturally straight hair, but she'd been to the hairdressers the evening before and had it done. He liked it when she had her hair up because it showcased her pretty facial features more.

She laughed slightly, "thanks Rog. Have you decided what you want?" She asked.

Roger glanced back down, thinking. "Not sure yet."

The two spent a few more minutes deciding on food, before a petite brunette waitress of about 20 walked over to the table, a pen and small notepad in hand.

"You ready to order?" The waitress asked. She had a pretty face and large chocolatey brown eyes, adorned by eyelashes thickly coated in mascara. Valentina watched her eyes fall on Roger and linger, she couldn't blame the young girl, he often attracted long gazes from girls, it was the blue eyes and messy blond rock star kind of hair.

Roger looked up and smiled, "yeah. You can order first, Tina" he urged.

Valentina ordered her food and a coffee, then Roger did the same. "Okay, I'll get those to you soon" the waitress replied when they had finished. She gave a small smile at the two.

"Thanks doll" Roger replied adding one of his charming smirks, this seemingly made her very pleased, before she batted her thick eyelashes and walked off.

"Rog!" Valentina scolded, rolling her eyes.

"What? She's only young, was just being nice" the blond man replied, laughing.

"Course. You know how to wind me up, don't you?" She teased.

"It's easy."

Valentina just rolled her eyes and chuckled. About ten minutes later, the waitress reappeared with their food, placing the dishes in front of them. "Enjoy!" she said cheerfully.
"Thank you!" Valentina chimed back.

Roger just gave her a wink, causing the young woman's to flush a light shade of pink as she bit her lip before leaving. Valentina just looked down at her food, feeling slightly irritated. She knew it was just banter, Roger was just trying to get a reaction out of her because he knew he could get a girls attention easily. He would never act on it in a negative way, he just liked to be cocky. It was harmless fun for him.

"What's the fierce face for?" Roger laughed, raising an eyebrow.

"Fierce?!" Valentina looked up, laughing.

"You looked like could square up to that girl for a moment" he laughed, "don't worry Val. I'm just teasing you!"

"I know that. I just want you to stop flirting. Everyone knows you're good looking Rog, no need to encourage the ladies" she joked. Roger just laughed.
"Sorry angel."

They finished their food and drinks, and then split the bill as Valentina refused to let Roger pay for the whole lot, even though he protested. Valentina noticed the young brunette girl behind the counter as the payed, and the childish part inside her urged her to kiss Roger lightly on the neck when she knew the girl was looking. It was silly, but she liked to show off what was hears. He smirked down at her, taking her hand and leaving the cafe. Valentina loved being on Rogers arm, he made her feel special. And she liked to be shown off by him. She usually wasn't the type of girl to want that, but Roger made her like it.
