After overhearing what the girls said in the dressing room, I realised that it was true. I hadn't really taken into consideration the fact that she's come all this way from a tiny town in the U.K. to here, and before long all the attention will be on her. I realised that now.
"Position please" I heard and I let her hand slip out of mine.
"Come here" I smiled and opened my arms. I saw her blush and I felt a little flutter in my heart, that I had never felt when I had been with her before.
She softly placed herself in my arms, her head on my chest and one of her arms lay across my torso. Slowly she put one of her legs over mine. I didn't know what to do with my arms.
"Would it be ok if I put my arm here?" I asked her and laid my arm on her side so my hand rest on her hip.
"Yes of course" she said and I quickly rubbed my thumb against her hip. I heard her inhale quickly and it made my heart race. What was going on today?

The cameras moved around us for a while and we just stayed in that position while they did what they had to do. Occasionally I would feel her fingers run circles across my torso. It was as if the cameras weren't here for a second and it was just us. I felt calm and relaxed.
"Cut" someone called and it dragged my mind back to the fact that we were on a set.
"God I could have just fallen asleep" I smiled and she nodded on my chest.
We were directed on what to do and it was straight forward, I just had to mouth the words in time with the track and Faith just had to open her eyes when I said it. The little scene went smoothly and we only had to do it twice before they said we were moving on.

"Have you guys kissed yet?" The director said and we both looked at each other while sitting up.
"No" we said in synchronisation.
"Well we need a kiss next so let's say take ten minutes just go, practice it or whatever you need to do." He said and I could sense that both of our hearts were racing to their full speed.
"Do you want to go somewhere more, private?" She asked and I nodded picking up my T-shirt.
We walked down the hallway and found a staircase that led up to the roof of the building. We walked up there in silence and she breathed heavily as the door closed behind us.

"I know this isn't ideal. I didn't think we'd have to kiss this early on" I smiled trying to make her feel more comfortable.
"Me either. I thought we'd at least get to know each other a bit more" she smiled and the air between us became more relaxed.
We sat down on a raised piece of concrete side by side.
"It's beautiful here" she breathed.
"I love it when I get the chance to come back here. It's home" I told her.
"I want to live in a big city, where things happen and there's life" she beamed and I nodded.
"Why don't you?" I asked.
"I will, eventually" she said and turned her head to meet my eye.
"Have you ever seen me in concert?" I smiled.
"That's so random" she laughed. "But no. No I haven't. All the tickets have sold out before I had even had a chance to look"
"I could get you in"
"Maybe you should do that then"
"Maybe I will"
She smiled and we both leaned forward.
"Is this ok?" I asked in a whisper.
She nodded as our noses brushed together. As our lips touched her small hand was placed on my cheek, I put my hand in her hair.
The kiss continued longer than I expected. I got lost in it as our lips moved together.

It was her who pulled away first.
"We should probably get back." She whispered as our foreheads remained touching.
"Probably" I smiled.
"I don't really want to though" she laughed and I nodded.
"Me either"
"Really?" She said looking shocked.
"I know we didn't get on at first but now,"
"I know what you mean" she smiled.
"Look I'm sorry about before. I really didn't realise that this all must be a lot for you and I'm sorry about that. You're an amazing person and I really am looking forward to doing this with you. And hopefully getting to know you better maybe, after this is over," I said slowly.
"Id like that"
She took me by surprise and gently kissed me quickly again before standing up and walking back towards the door. I smiled and shook my head before running to catch up with her.
I put my hand on her back as she opened the door.

We walked back down to set but a hand on my shoulder stopped me in my tracks.
"That was more than just a rehearsal kiss" Andrew said.
"What are you talking about?"
"Up there on the roof. That seemed more than just a rehearsal kiss. I'm not going to get involved your relationship is your own, but just think about it. She's younger than you Shawn. Just think" he said before walking off.
I looked over at Faith. She was smiling as she looked around, she was beautiful. But Andrew was right.
