They saw each other first on the train. And then in the same cafe, and then in the same meeting room. He disliked her loud music, she disliked his attitude. Their opinions will have to change when she's hired to work with him.

Faith Elizabeth "Would you ever date me?" "Wait what?" "Would you ever date me? Like after we're both out of here?"
Me and Ben were sat under our tree. I was getting out tomorrow. I couldn't lie, I would miss Ben. We had become close over my time here. But I didn't see a romantic future with him. I just never told him because I didn't want to make him upset. He was lovely, and we had a lot in common but I couldn't see myself with him. While I was getting more positive and better in myself, he was getting negative. He told me it was because I was leaving, even though I said I was going to come and see him when I could.
"Ben," "I really like you Faith. I really do" he sighed, "and I just don't want to see you leave tomorrow" "But I am. I'm better now. Im feeling so good within myself Ben." I said and he sighed. "I know I know. But that means I've got to find someone else and I don't want to" he said and I nodded. "I'll miss you" I put my hand over his and sighed. "I've said that I'll come and see you whenever I can. Ben you really have to start seeing the positives on this" I said and he rested his head on my shoulder. "Would you date me?" "I'm not saying yes and I'm not saying no" I sighed. "No no like not in the future as in now. Would you be my girlfriend?" He asked and my breath hitched in my throat. "Ben I cant" I said and he nodded. "I have to spend this time focusing on myself, and you need to do the same. You need to think about getting out of here and I need to start rebuilding" I explained. "I understand" he said and I nodded. "Are you still going to come and see me leave?" I asked and he nodded. "Good" I smiled. "We should get to bed" he sighed and I nodded.
As we got to my room we faced each other slowly. "You're really special to me you know? If I didn't meet you then I really don't think that I'd be leaving tomorrow" I whispered and he smiled a genuine smile. "Thank you" he said and I took his hands in mine. "It's true. You're a great guy" I smiled and he took me into his arms. "And you're a great girl" he said and I smiled against his chest. "Thank you. I'll see you in the morning ok?" I smiled and he nodded. I stood on my toes and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Night" "Night"
I didn't sleep. At all. So when the time came for me to get up and pack my things I was more than thrilled. I was excited to see mum and hopefully Ryan, and I was looking forward to seeing Shawn and Karen. I was nervous to say goodbye to Ben. I didn't want to make him upset. That was my worst nightmare for him. But I had to stay positive. I had to do this for myself. I had come so far and was in such a good place now, I didn't want anything to ruin that for me.
I excitedly packed my little rucksack and headed out of the room. "Excited are we?" I heard from behind me. I turned around and faced Helen. "A little" "I'm so proud of you. So so proud. I've watched you grow here emotionally and I couldn't be happier that you're leaving with that little smile on your face" Helen said and hugged me tight. "Thank you so much Helen. I'm sure Melody is so proud of you" I said and I watched as a few tears fell down her cheeks. "Thank you. Now, go and get yourself out of here!" She said and I started to walk down the hallway. "Don't come back!" She yelled laughing. "I won't!" I yelled back before skipping down to reception.
"I'm leaving" I said to the girl on the desk. "I know. They're all waiting outside for you" She sighed with a small smile and I nodded. I ran my hands down the front of Shawn's pink hoodie and bit my lip as I opened the door. A round of cheers erupted as I walked through the door. I went first to Mum who had tears brimming her eyes. She squeezed me tight and kept telling me how proud she was of me. Ryan was crying as well and joined in the hug. "I love you. I love you so much" he said over and over and kissed my head. "I love you too Ryan" I smiled and he nodded.
"I'll see you soon?" Ben said and I held his upper arms. "Of course. I'll come and see you when I can ok?" I said to Ben and he nodded with a smile. "I'll miss you" he said and I nodded. "I'll miss you too" I smiled. "See you later" he smiled with a last hug. "You get yourself better ok?" I said as he bounded up the steps. "For you I will" he grinned before going back into the building.
I turned and faced Karen. "Get over here" she smiled and I went happily over and hugged her tight. "I'm so happy you could make it" I said as she rubbed my back. "I wouldn't miss this. I'm so happy that you're happy now" She smiled and I nodded happily. "I am. I just need to rebuild and start over now" I smiled and she nodded. "Well, if ever you need something I'll be here for you" she smiled and I nodded. "Thank you for everything Karen"
"Hello" Shawn smiled and I nodded. "Hello" I giggled. "I'm Shawn, Shawn Mendes." He said and I caught on to what he was doing. "Faith Elizabeth" I said and shook his hand. "Well, it's very nice to meet you Faith Elizabeth" he smiled and I nodded. "It's nice to meet you too" I smiled. "You're beautiful" "Oh, thank you" I giggled. "I'd love to take you out some time?" He said and I nodded quickly. "I would love that"
On the steps of that clinic, surrounded by the people I loved most, I started a new life. A new chapter. And I was determined, strong, and I knew, that with these people by my side, I could do anything.
