Shawn Mendes
That afternoon I spent with her was the most relaxed I had felt this whole week. I felt normal. Like I wasn't the famous Shawn Mendes, I was just a normal guy, spending an afternoon with a girl that he liked.
And I did like Faith. I knew that. I wouldn't kiss her if I didn't. But all the time, Andrews voice ricocheted around my mind. What he doesn't know won't hurt him.
"I should go" I said as we sat side by side, and she traced my swallow tattoo.
"Really?" She asked with a little pout playing on her lips.
"Your mom will be wanting you down for dinner in a minute" I smiled brushing her hair off of her face.
"Guys!" I heard her mom shout from downstairs and I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Told you" I said and she rolled her eyes with a smile. I leaned over and kissed her quickly before we both walked down the stairs.

"Oh god" Her mom said and I smiled. "I'm sorry, I guess I'll have to get used to seeing Shawn Mendes in my home instead of just on Faiths walls"
"Mum, well this is Shawn, Shawn this is my Mother, Francesca" Faith blushed and I smiled, admiring the sound of her British accent.
"Well I better be going" I sighed looking down at Faith.
"You're welcome to stay if you'd like. We're just getting a takeaway" Francesca smiled and I smiled.
"Are you sure?"
"Don't be silly of course I'm sure" she said and I smiled. "Would you guys be ok with going to get it while I make a work call?"
We both nodded. Yet something inside me panicked.

She looked up at me as her Mom walked away.
"I can go by myself Shawn it's ok" she smiled.
"No I don't want you walking out in the dark on your own" I told her, while slipping my shoes on.
"Shawn I'll be fine I don't want you to get in any trouble" She said but I just shook my head.
She slipped her shoes on and we walked out of her apartment.
Luckily there weren't many people out, it was quiet and calm.
"I really like it here" Faith sighed looking up at the tall buildings.
"Why do you sound sad when you say it?" I asked.
"Because I'm leaving. After all this is done I'll have to go back to the U.K." she shrugged. I hadn't thought about that part of it all. "I won't see you again"
"Don't say that. I'm getting you into my concert remember" I smiled trying to keep the conversation light.
"I remember. But I won't see you see you. We won't be like this" she sighed before walking into the Italian restaurant.

We waited in silence. But I could tell we were getting looks from people in the restaurant. And I knew that Faith felt it as well she started to shift in her place and move her hair around.
"Stop panicking" I whispered.
"I'm worried for you more than me" she said.
"No one will say anything and in reality what can they do? They can't do anything to you or me." I said and she shrugged.
"I just don't like confrontation. It makes me nervous" she said.
"Then I'll deal with the confrontation" I said and she nodded as our takeout was given to us.

We walked back to her apartment in silence and I could tell she was panicking inside.
"Mum!" She yelled as we walked in through the door.
She walked through the apartment quickly before coming back to where I was stood.
"She's working, so she said it's just for us" Faith shrugged and I nodded.
"Can I take you back to mine?"
I asked and she ran back to where her Mom was.
I watched her give a few nods before coming back to me.
"Yeah that's fine" she smiled and I put my hand on her waist as we walked out the door.
I led her by her waist round to my car and I smiled at the fact that she had to jump to get in.

She looked out of the window the whole drive, and didn't say anything until we got into my house.
"Come on" I said and took the bag off of her after locking the door.
I led her to my living room in front of the large windows and set the food and myself down.
She sat down next to me with a sigh.
"Can I be honest with you?" She asked as we started to eat.
"Of course. I wouldn't want you to be anything less"
"You're not like I expected you to be" She smiled. "I mean you've always been shown as this sweet caring guy which is so true, but I always had the nagging that you were going to have a celebrity diva about you. And you don't"
"Can I be honest with you? Being with you today, is the most normal I've felt in a long time." I said. "Did you know I struggle with anxiety?" I asked and she shook her head.

"It's hard for me to talk about. But with always trying to be my best and be perfect it's hard and I get stressed and I have to take medication" I told her and she looked at me with sad eyes.
"Shawn, you're, you're honestly just the most incredible person I've met. To go through that and have anxiety, and still be an amazing person and an amazing performer, this is why your fans love you Shawn. Your fans should know" she said reaching out and placing her small hand on top of mine.
"You're right. Thank you" I smiled.
"Can I give you a hug?" She smiled standing up and I nodded, while also standing.

I opened up my arms for her and she stood on her toes to wrap her arms around my neck.
"You're an amazing person Shawn don't doubt it" she whispered. I hugged her back tight and just held her.
