Shawn Mendes
She had no idea.
She had no idea what was happening.
I had kept it so long to myself.

I was sat in an English taxi cab, on my way to surprise her, in a full suit, my hair all done.
It had been so hard to keep it from her, but I had managed it.
I was so excited to see her in her dress.
The only problem was that Andrew made me take two security with me which meant I would have to push to have some time with her alone.
But that was at the back of my mind.
I just hoped that my timing wasn't off and I would get to her before she left.
I had managed to get into contact with her friend Ryan and told him to stall for as long as possible.

My foot tapped on the floor of the cab with anxiousness.
I couldn't picture what would happen tonight. I think we would be lucky to spend some actual time together. But I was excited to get to be there with her. Even if she hadn't asked me to come, and even if she wasn't expecting me.
I couldn't tell if she'd be happy or annoyed that I had come without telling her.
I had put on a black shirt, black trousers and a patterned jacket, hoping she wouldn't find the jacket too much.
I hoped tonight went smoothly and was as beautiful as I hoped it would be for her.
She deserved so much.

I didn't fully understand why we hadn't really talked in the past week, or why she was being blunt with me but I just moved along. Blaming it on stress.
"Hey" I spoke into the phone.
"Hey you."
"What are you doing?" I asked, even though I could already guess.
"Well I'm just finishing getting ready and waiting for Ryan to get his ARSE INTO GEAR SND GET READY!" She shouted.
He was stalling. Perfect. "So I don't think we'll be leaving for like another hour"
Perfect.
"Ok. Well I'll ring you in an hour before you go" I said smiling to myself.
"Ok. I'll talk to you later." She said and I bit my nails.
"Talk later. I love you, bye" I said before hanging up and putting my phone in my pocket. Not thinking twice about what I said.

Faith Elizabeth
"Oh my god" I gasped my phone slipping from my hands.
"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" Ryan said.
"Are you pregnant?" Tess said and Ryan gently hit her arm, handing me back my phone.
"Faith what's wrong?"
"He said he loves me" I said placing my hand over my mouth.
"Fuck off" Ryan said copying my actions.
"He literally just said I love you bye" I told them.
"Oohhh that's so cute!"
"I don't think he meant to say it" I said coming to a realisation.
"Well he obviously feels it because he said it without thinking. So it seems natural to him to say it" Ryan said and I nodded.
He squeezed my  shoulders and I went back into my room to slip my dress on.

"You all look so gorgeous" Mum gushed as we three stood together for photos. "Why is nobody's boyfriend here?" Mum aimed at us all.
"Dan is already there"
"I didn't ask Shawn"
"I'm single as fuck" Tess giggled causing us all to laugh.
"Oh hang on" I said as my phone rang. "Hey. We're just about to leave"
"Oh good" Shawn said. "I bet you look absolutely gorgeous. I'm sad I didn't get an invite"
"Yeah, I'm sorry. I kind of wish you were here now" I sighed.
"You better head off" he said and I was taken back.
"Oh, oh right yeah. Well I'll talk to you tomorrow"
"Ok" he said and I hung up.

"Right let's go" Ryan said, an abnormally large smirk on his face.
"Ok" I breathed picking up my bag. "Let's go"

Shawn Mendes
As she opened the door I gripped the rose tight in my hand. As I saw her in her beautiful emerald, backless dress I raised my eyebrows and felt a grin spread on my face.
"Woah, What the fuck, are you doing here?" She said slowly walking into my arms.
"Aren't you happy?"
"Of course. I'm just shocked" she said hugging me tight.
"You look absolutely stunning" I said into her hair.
"So do you! I love the jacket" she said smiling widely as we walked to get in the pre arranged car for the evening.

"Hello, you must be Tessa?" I asked the girl next to Faith.
"Tess. Hi" she said fluttering her eyelashes.
"Tess. Flirt with anyone else, flirt with Ryan for all I care,"
"Gay over here" Ryan said and I smiled at his attitude.
"Please don't try it on with my boyfriend" Faith said and I snaked my arm around her waist.
"Yeah yeah." Tess said back rolling her eyes.
"Are you annoyed that I've come?" I whispered in her ear.
"No I'm not. Just shocked"
"You seen off" I smiled.
"I'll talk to you about it later" she sighed.
"No no let's talk now"
"Shawn, as soon as we get out the car then we'll talk ok?"
I nodded and just turned back to my phone.

"Come on then" I said pulling her forearm.
We walked out to a small garden patch outside the building.
"What's wrong?"
"Do we really have to do this now?" She sighed and I nodded. "Firstly, I just feel like you're more worried about how your fans would feel if we went public than like excited"
"I'm always going to worry about what I do because of my fans. They keep me who I am and I love them. I never want to disappoint them, but I don't want you to feel hurt." I said holding her hands.
"I know and I'm sorry it's irrational I've just been stressed lately" she sighed and I cupped her face, lightly pushing my lips to hers.
"It's ok. Is there something else?"
"Well yes, but it's ok" she said.
I raised my eyebrow and she slowly bit her lip.
"What is it?"
"You said you love me..." she said quietly.
I widened my eyes and she shook her head. "I guessed you didn't mean it"
"I didn't even realise" I gasped.
"It's ok"
"I mean I d-"
"No. No Shawn don't just say it because you feel you have to. It's ok. I understand it was a slip up" she nodded.
"Ok" I stuttered out.

I hadn't even realised that I had said it. I did feel bad. It was supposed to be special and I just went and slip up said it.

"Let's go in" she said taking my hand.
I pulled her back and pulled her into my body hugging her tight.
"You're the most beautiful girl here" I whispered.
"You haven't seen anyone yet" she said and I kissed her slowly.
"I don't have to. Also, this sounds childish but please don't leave me" I laughed.
"Never" she giggled kissing my cheek.

"Are you ready to be bombarded?" She asked as we walked into the barn.
I just huffed and followed her in.

Faith Elizabeth
I braced myself.
I held onto Shawn's hand tightly as I realised that more and more people were starting to realise that Shawn was here.
"Oh my god!" A girl screamed as me and Shawn made our way through the parting crowd to a small corner table.
I think people were too in shock to come over to Shawn.
"Are you ok?" He asked taking my hands in his.
"Yeah I'm ok. Not used to all the eyes on me" I giggled and he shrugged.
"You'll get used to it. Do you want to dance?" He asked and my eyes widened.
"You want to dance? There's like no one dancing"
"So? Who cares! Let's just do us" he shrugged and I took his hand as he led me out onto the large dance space.

I put my arms around his neck and he pulled my waist into his body.
I rest my head on his chest as we gently swayed. I fell into a dream like trance as we swayed, feeling his hand draw patterns on the bare skin of my back. I almost got lost in the music and closed my eyes as I felt his heart beat.

"I'm glad you came tonight" I smiled.
"So am I. I just wanted to be here for you. I hated the thought of you being here on your own" he said and I swooned.
"You're just so sweet"
"Also, I've told your Mum to pack your bags"
"Where am I going?"
"On tour with me?" He smiled and my jaw fell open.
"I'm actually allowed?" I grinned.
"Yeah. Though you have to share my tour bed"
"I thought they were only single beds"
"Exactly" he winked before kissing me slowly. Behind my eyelids I could see cameras flashing. But I didn't care. I cupped his face in my hands, feeling the muscles of his jaw on my palm.
"I'm so glad I found you" I whispered, my lips against his ear.
He said nothing, he just squeezed my body tighter.
I couldn't deny, I was on cloud nine.
