Shawn Mendes
I woke up the next morning only remembering the full extent of yesterday. I wasn't the only one in my bed.
She lay next to me, her hair sprawled out over the pillow, her chest rising and falling slowly. Her head was turned away from me and I was at a loss of what to do, or what to think. But I did know that it would be best to keep what happened to ourselves.
A small groan drew me out of my head. I quickly looked around the floor and cursed as I saw that my underwear was too far away for me to reach without getting up, hers even further.
I turned my head just as she turned hers.
"Jesus Christ" she groaned and covered her face as we met eyes.
"So much for just seeing how it goes eh?" I smiled and I could see a smile start to appear on her face followed by a groan mixed with a laugh.
"Didn't exactly go to plan" she said taking her hands away from her face. "What time is it?"
"Twelve"
"Oh wow." She said and grabbed her phone. Quickly I saw her dial her mums number.
"Hi" she groaned.
"Have you only just woken up?"
"Yep"
"I'm going to guess you two had a good night then" her mum laughed and I saw Faith blush as she said it.
"Mum. He's literally sat right next to me can you not" she giggled.
"Sorry darling."
"Do you need me to be home at a specific time?"
"Well we don't really have a lot to pack and I've done most of it so no not really. But you have to sleep here tonight. We've got to be at the airport at 7 and leave here at 5:30" she explained and it dawned on me that this was our last day here together.
"Ok no problem. See you later" she sighed before hanging up.

"Do you want to go and grab a coffee?" I asked after seeing the frown appear on her face.
"That sounds great" she said.
I slid out of bed as she sat up and quickly put on my underwear.
"Here you go" I said holding her underwear out for her.
As she slipped it on I turned my head to give her some form of respect and privacy.
"Shawn? Could I borrow a hoodie please?" She said timidly and I nodded pulling out my pink hoodie. "Ooh I like this one" she said slipping it over her head.
"I'm just going to get in the shower" I said walking into the bathroom.

The water felt good down my body as I sung random songs from my albums and some I just make up there and then.
I ran my hands through my hair and washed it before I held onto my shoulders. A stinging pain ran through me as I touched the back of my shoulders and around my collar bones.
"Shit" I whispered to myself.
I turned the water off and wrapped a towel around my waist. I tried to see in the mirror but it was all steamed up.
I went back into the room and saw Faith sat fully dressed, on her phone on the bed.
I quickly put on underwear and a pair of jeans.

"Can you look at something for me?" I asked and she knelt up as I stood at the edge of the bed.
"Yeah. What's wrong?"
I turned and pointed to where I felt the stinging pain.
"Holy shit. Oh fuck" I heard and turned back to her. "Fuck" she repeated as she saw the front.
"What? What's wrong?" I panicked.
"Shawn I'm so sorry. I didn't even realise. Oh I feel so bad" she said and covered her mouth.
"What is it? Take video" I said and she held up her phone.
I turned as she recorded and felt my heart beat faster out of panic.
"Before you see, Can I just reiterate that I did not realise and did not intend to do it at all. I'm so so sorry" she said and held her phone out towards me.
I looked at the video and saw small but prominent scratch marks over my chest and shoulders.
"Right" I sighed.
"Shawn I'm so sorry. I feel awful" she said sitting back, holding her face in her hands.
"Don't be silly" I said and held my arms out. She raised back up and wrapped her arms round my neck as I hugged her waist.

I threw on a T-shirt and shoved my phone in my pocket before we walked out the door. It was busy on the streets and I sensed an anxiety as we walked.
"Why are you so tense?" I asked being polite as possible.
"I'm just worried that someone will See the marks" she sighed.
"You didn't have to change out of my hoodie"
"I just thought that it would be easier on you if I just wear my own"
I nodded in response and we continued to walk.

As we walked it seemed to get busier and busier. Many people wanted photos and I happily obliged.
"You're so lovely with your fans" Faith smiled.
"I wouldn't be who I am without them. They do so much for me and it's the least I can do" I explained.
"You do so much for your fans Shawn. I know that for some you're the reason they get up and smile" she said and my heart swelled at her words.
I put my arm around her shoulders and her arm went comfortably around my waist.
"Thank you"
The more we walked the more I noticed people noticing us. "Are you ok?" I whispered to her as people started taking photos.
"Yeah I'm fine. I have you" Faith smiled up at me.
"Do you want to go in there?" I asked pointing to a small, seemingly quiet coffee shop. She nodded and we crossed the road, entering the small place.

"Ooh this is nice" she said looking round at the fairy lights. "If you want to find somewhere to sit I'll get this. As a thank you"
"No let me get it"
"Shawn please" She said with a small pout. I nodded.
"I'll just have whatever your having" I smiled and she nodded before walking off.
I chose a spot by the window and waited for her to come back.
"Here you are" She said placing two mugs down on the table along with a blueberry muffin. "There was only one so I thought we could share"
"Perfect thank you"
"I don't want to leave" she said as we occasionally sipped on the coffee.
"I don't want to leave either. Not now" I sighed.
She raised an eyebrow in confusion. I raised both of my eyebrows and just took a sip of my drink.
"Oh. Yeah"
"Do you regret it?" I whispered leaning close.
"No! No I don't"
"Can I ask you something?" I asked worried about asking, purely because I was worried about the answer.
"Are you, are you a,"
"No. No I'm not" She said quickly, almost too quickly.I sighed out of relief. "W-would that have been a problem?"
"I would just have made it more special. Besides wouldn't you have wanted to do it with a boyfriend if you were?"
"Not necessarily," She said trailing off.

We didn't carry on the conversation. But she turned quiet after. I didn't know if I had hit a nerve, but I decided not to question her about it. I just hoped that she had told me the truth.
