Daddy?

John's Pov-

        "Does anyone want cake?" Dad asked, standing up from the couch. Jade and I shook our heads quickly. "I would Mr.Egbert." Dave said with a smirk. Dad walked into the kitchen quickly. I glared at Dave. "Are you nuts? He's going to be in there forever." Jade nodded. "I can't believe you said that. Good going Dave." River pulled on my shirt. "What is it honey?" She leaned up in my until her mouth was close to my ear. "What's wrong with him making cake?" She whispered. I smiled. "My dad is crazy when it comes to baking. Never ask him to make a cake." I turned to Dave. "Like he did." River ran over to Dave and Jumped into his lap. "You're crazy daddy."

Dave's Pov-

        Did she just say what I think she did? Did she just call me daddy? River covered her mouth with her hand. "I.." I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me. I kissed the top of her head. I don't know how to react. I was so afraid of this whole adoption thing. But now, I don't know how to feel. I've only know the twins for a day, but I already felt like I was close to them. They resembled John and I a whole lot. And they just changed my world. Ryan climbed up into John's lap. She whispered something in his ear. He nodded and kissed her forehead. He looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back. Man. And I thought being a parent was going to be awful.

Jade's Pov-

        Awwwww!!!!!! My brother was so cute! And so were his children. He's grown so much in the last three years. I wouldn't have suspected it but my brother has finally grown up. He doesn't seem like the prankster anymore. I was so happy for him. And for Dave as well. Gosh! A lot has happened in three years!

Cause he was supposed to be back like three days ago but he now he is coming back this Tuesday. So I'm hella pumped for that.
