Dirk's POV-

I woke up to a pinging sound. It was my phone. I tried to sit up but something was holding me down. Or someone was more like it. I looked down. Jake, my derp of a boyfriend, was almost laying all the way on top of me. I tried pushing him off of me but he wouldn't budge. He wasn't exactly heavy, but when he was asleep it was like he was a 250 pound man. "Jake. Hey Jake." I nudged him some more. "Mhm." My phone made another sound. "Jake, get up." I pushed him again. "Dirk." He mumbled. I smirked. I thought it was kinda cute that he was dreaming about me, but I had to get up to answer my phone that was still going off. "Jake! Get up!" I pushed him as hard as I could until he rolled over and fell off the bed. "Ufh!" I got out of the bed and walked over to my dresser where my phone was pinging. "Why did you do that?" Jake grumbled. "You weren't getting up and I had to answer my phone." I looked over at him. He was climbing back onto the bed. "I love you." I said turning back to my dresser and phone. "Gee, if that's how you show your love..." He didn't finish the sentence but I knew where he was going with it. I unlocked my phone and looked at my notifications. I had a bunch of messages from my brother, Dave.

DAVE:

cmon i know you can hear ur fone going off

dirk

ok look john and i are at an adoption fair and when we get done we are coming over

so get ready and look somewhat cool

and make sure that english muffin is ready 2

Dirk:

no worries lil' bro. I got you covered

we will be ready

I locked my phone and placed it back on the dresser. I crawled back into the bed. "What's going on Dirk?" I rolled over so I could look at Jake's face. "Dave is coming over later. And we have to get dressed and shit." He laughed and kissed my forehead. "Why do you hate getting dressed?" I smirked. "Cause I like to let it all hang out." Jake laughed. I kissed his lips quickly. "C'mon let's get ready."
