Adoption Day

Loose ends

You have finally made it to the end of this very long story. I hope you enjoyed the long journey that I put you through. There might be some information that got lost but I'm here to clear it all up.

1. The whole homestuck gang is around 21 and 22 besides the guardians.

2. Dave and John are not married. Even though they wanted to adopt they decided not to get married until they were older.

3. River and Ryan came from a broken home before they went to the adoption center. Their mom was working three jobs and their dad wasn't around alot. And when he was around he would beat the twins and their mother. Because of the abuse Their mother gave them up to the adoption center. They weren't given up until they were five.

5. John and Jade were born to a single parent. They never knew their father. It was just them and their mother. Around the time the twins were 10 their mother became deathly ill. They don't know what caused it but they were scared that she wouldn't become healthy again. But in the next year she became well again. This brought fear into the single parent's life. She sent in paper work into the social services office just case if she got ill again and died that her kids would have someone where to go. Of course we all know about the game.... after the game ended, their mother did become ill again and died a few months later. The twins at the age of 16 were adopted by Mr. Egbert. John was given that last name because of misfiled paperwork, while Jade was not. And you know the rest.

6. Dirk didn't want to meet River and Ryan because he didn't want to screw up. He didn't want to Dave to think that he had let his little brother down. Dirk has messed up alot in his life and he didn't want to mess Dave's up as well.

7. Mrs. Vintage, from the adoption center, was actually supposed to be one of the Maryam's (Porium or Rosa) But I edited it so I would have more OC's instead of using all the Homestuck characters.

8. I don't know If there is anything else that I left out, But if there is something that you don't understand or something that I need to explain better don't hesitate to ask.

Alright this story is finally over and I am as happy with the outcome of it. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it. And now that it is over I won't know what to do with myself.
