John's Pov-
I kept running toward the screaming. I'm coming, River. Just hold on a little bit longer. "River!" I called out. "River!" There wasn't a response for a bit. "John?" I ran faster. Her voice was really close. "River!" I called out again. "John!" I ran over a hill. Once I was over I could see her hair. "River." I continued to run to her. "Daddy?" Her eyes widened and she ran into me. I wrapped my arms around her. "Oh my god. River. Are you alright?" I pulled back to look at her. "I'm fine, daddy." I smiled at her. "Why are you crying?" River asked, wiping the tears off my cheeks. "I'm just happy. I'm glad you're alright." I said pulling her back into a hug.
"Don't run off on me like that ever again, John." Vriska slapped me on the back of the head. "Ow." I rubbed my head. "Sorry, Vris." River looked between the two of us. "Gosh, you scared the crap out of me. What if you died? Then I would be left alone like the last time. You know I hate being alone." I sighed. "I said I was sorry. Why can't you let it go? Be cooooooool about it." She smiled slightly. "Awe, you drew that just for me." I nodded. " Of course. I only do those for you." River tugged on my hood. "Yeah, River?" She pointed to Vriska. "Who's she?" Vriska looked down at River. "I'm Vriska. One of John's great friends. I'm practically your aunt." River smiled at her. " I'm River. John's adoptive daughter. I'm practically your niece." Vriska laughed. "And adorable." I snorted. I was happy that River was found. Ryan, I'm coming for you too.
