Dave's pov-
"So we have to send out a signal to the others." Rose placed a box on the ground. "What's that?" I asked, flipping my shades around my finger. "Its a small flare box. Once we send out the signal, the others will be able to find us through pesterchum. It'll make it easier for them to find us." I nodded. "Seems cool." Rose pushed a few buttons on the small metal box. I looked past her to see the girls playing with Vriska and Terezi. John and Kanaya were sitting on a small ledge, watching the four and talking. I sighed. This would seem peaceful if this game wasn't a living hell. I sighed again. "Alright. Its ready." Rose spoke up. A blue light shot out of the top box and into the sky. "Oooooh! Look at it!" I heard River cheer. "Its pretty huh?" Ryan chimed in. I smiled. We were so close to getting out of here.
