sleepless night (part 1)

Dave's pov-

I sighed. John was still upstairs with the girls. I don't understand why we had to stay here for the night. We could have it back to New York by at least 11 o'clock. But I was just doing what John wanted to do, as usual. I laid back on the couch and closed my eyes. I had made sure that my shades were secure on my face. I don't need anyone taking them off at unknown times during the night. The Egbert/Harley family didn't know what I looked like behind the shades aside from John. And I planned to keep it that way. At least for the time being.

John never came back down the stairs. I don't think he would be coming back. The girls seem to have trouble sleeping. Even though we've only had them for a day. I sighed closing my eyes again. It was gonna be a long night.
