Dave's POV-
"Dave! C'mon, we have to do an interview!" John ran back into the room where all the kids were. "So you ready to get out of here?" I asked the twins. I didn't notice John. They nodded. "We've been waiting forever." The one with shades, Ryan I guessed, spoke. "Yeah, and having two dads is better than having a dad and a mom." River said, bumping into her twin. "Dave, did you hear me!" John poked my cheek. "Hmm?" He sighed. "We have to do an interview." I nodded. "Alright. We'll be back."
"So David, what do you do for a living?" I wanted to correct the women, Mrs. Vintage, about my name but when I realized what she asked my throat closed up. what was I supposed to say? that I help my brother out in the smuppet porn industry? fat chance. "I'm unemployed." I said as convincingly as I could. It wasn't exactly the truth but it wasn't a lie. I didn't have a job but I helped with my brother. "Alright. And John?" He smiled. "I work as a part-time secretary at the Crocker cooperation." I sighed. At least he was happy with work. "Alright, gentlemen. We are done. You make take River and Ryan home with you."
