the connection (part 2)

Hey everyone! I'm back. I have everything worked out now. I feeling better than I was before. And I want to thank you guys for giving your support. It meant alot to me. I'm also giving a big thank you to my co-writers, Gavin and nowNeko for updating the stories while I was away.. Thank you again!

John's pov-

Maybe Dave was right. Everything will be fine. I was just overreacting. We would go in the game, get the girls out, and then come home. It would be fine. We would be fine. Dave walked into the living room. "What did Rose say?" He smiled slightly. "We need to get ahold of Vriska. Rose thought that you would be able to get ahold of her. Y'know since you are so close to the spider bitch." I snorted. "Alright. I'll try to contact her." I pulled my phone out of my pocket. "I'm gonna go find Jade." Dave kissed my forehead. I dialed Vriska's number as I watched Dave walk up the stairs. I sighed, placing the phone to my ear. This was alot of work. There were to many things to do. We had to set up all these connections in a short amount of time, It was too much to do. If I had only destroyed my copy of the game, when we had came back non of this would have happened. We could've been back home in New York by this time. I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice that Vriska answered the phone. "Helloooooooo." She answered with the same overexagerated voice she had when we were younger. "Oh hey Vriska." She laughed. "Oh, Its just you John. What do you want?" I sighed. "I need to ask a favour." She sighed as well. "What is it?" I looked around the living room. It didn't look the girls were far along in the game. That was good. "We have to go back into the game. But we need you to connect with us since you have alot of the game mechanics left. Will you join us?" She snorted. "Why did you have to ask? I've been wanting to get back in the action. Ever since I died hopelessly in there. Damn Pyrope. Of course, I'll connect! Just tell me when." I smiled. "Thanks Vris. This means alot." There was a small pause. "No problem."
