"Hi"... he said as he offered his hand and I accepted it, the shake was a little bit longer than normal. I stole a quick assessing glance at the blue sea eyed man. He wore black trousers and  a black buttoned  white shirt. The tight fitting shirt revealed his mile-wide shoulders. He held his white coat with his left hand.. The rumbling thunder reminded me I came here for shelter not assessing

"you sick again" he asked
"No not really I came here to see someone, the psychotherapist" the words left my mouth without my brain processing
"okay" he said
He didn't look surprised for reasons I was just about to find out
"Okay?"
"Yeah I knew that already" he said

I stood looking at him shocked  and my mood changing

Did she tell him? How did he know, I thought silently

"No no not what is going through your mind
It was actually just a wild guess" he said as if he read my mind
"wild guess" I repeated his words
"yeah, I saw you by the psychotherapy unit last time so, I just knew what was up though I had my doubts
"Okay then" I said not wanting to continue the topic

We both moved to his office which wasn't far from where he saw me
As he opened the door, wind rustled the tree branches, the intensity of the rain kept on increasing
I scanned the office as I walked in. At one end of the office, there were so many big plastic bags, almost immediately a familiar smell hit me, Vanilla essence.
The smell made my stomach growl, a reminder that it needed food
"I had so much to do and i'm left with little or no time" he said looking frustrated

What could it be, I thought silently. Simply just ask I said to myself

" So what's the so much you have to do" I said repeating his line
"Sky's birthday is in 3days and I want to throw a party" he said as he wrote down something, looked like he was making a list
"Sky?" I said
"yeah my daughter" he said

Like why will he name his daughter sky, if he had another girl I wonder what he would name her, clouds.. I laughed at the thought of it
Mind your business, I told myself

"I know somebody who does good cakes" Did I just say that out loud. Yes you did, the voice in my head answered
"Really?" he asked
I nodded in agreement
"okay can you please handle that?" he sounded like a kid begging for candy, his voice calm and soft
"Okay Okay you sound like you'll burst into tears soon" I said while we both laughed
"Can I see your list?" I asked after I confirmed the paper in-front of him was a list
he nodded "yep"
I took the paper and went through it, he wrote stuffs I wouldn't remember if i were to write the same list
"Seems you have everything under control already" I said while handing him the paper
"not really, I was thinking of doing the cakes on my own"
I blinked at him looking a little bit stunned
"wow"
"yeah but, since you mentioned somebody, i'll prefer that. At least it will safe me the stress"
"but seems you got all your stuffs for the cake already"
he looked at me stunned
"how did you know" he asked
"wild guess" I said, I stole the line from him
His gaze was fixed on me
"Okay I got the smell of Vanilla and, I just concluded" I explained
"You are a fast learner" he said smiling
"I learned from the best" I said
"I got the stuffs for the cake already, you got that right" he said
"So do it"
"I have a lot on my hand already"
"I could help you" The words left my lips without my brain processing
did I just say that, I thought
yeah you did, something whispered in my ears

Doc John dropped me at the hostel, the rain didn't have plans on stopping anytime soon. I  left the car in a hurry after exchanging  thank yous and good byes
All eyes were fixed on me as I ran into the hostel, that was the least of my worries.
I removed my key and pushed it in the doorknob but, before I could turn the key, the door swung open. Somebody was in
