The Dream

She's in the middle of a beautiful garden wearing something that's so magical; A Ball Gown perhaps? Yes, an elegant ball gown and a pair of glass shoe. She's dressed like a princess with a tiara on her head. Fragrant flowers around calmed her senses. There were many butterflies flying. Everything seemed so perfect. Then, a familiar voice called her...

"Hi Princess."

Slowly, she turned around. And there he was, devastatingly handsome in his Prince Charming suit.

"Darren?" she uttered.

He nodded and his chinky eyes smiled. He bowed then gave her a green rose.

"Can I have this dance?" he asked.

Her eyes watered because of so much happiness. Close to tears, she took the rose and his hand. Then a sweet song suddenly played .....

I was too dumb to notice that there's something about you. What am I supposed to do? I sure wish I knew.....

They were having the sweetest dance she ever had in her life. 

Time may pass us by but you'll stay stuck on my mind...

He looked at her as if she's the only one that mattered. His eyes were full of love and sincerity.

I'm still silently, quietly, hoping you'll end up with me...

Then his face moved closer... closer to hers... Slowly, she closed her eyes waiting for that kiss she's been wishing all her life. He's so close that she could already feel his sweet breath and fast heartbeat....-----Nica? Nica? Nica!!!

"Nica! Tanghali na. Male-late ka na sa klase mo." yung mama niya kumakatok sa pintuan.

Bigla siyang napadilat at napatingin sa wall clock. Shit! alas sais na! Alas syete ang klase niya at sa estado ng traffic dito sa Iloilo, siguradong male-late na talaga siya! Mabilis siyang bumangon at naligo. Pansamantala muna niyang kinalimutan ang napakaganda niyang panaginip. In 30 minutes, naka ready na siya. Humalik siya sa mama niya at mabilis na tinungo ang pinto.

"Oh teka, hindi ka ba mag-aalmusal?" tanong ng mama niya.

"Hindi na po Ma. Male-late na po ako at si Kuya kanina pa naghihintay sa labas. Alis na po ako." paalam niya.

Nica, short for Monica is a Grade 7 student. Ang mama niya ay isang public teacher at ang papa naman niya ay isang government employee. Dalawa lang silang magkakapatid. Yung Kuya Leonard niya ay Third Year College. Siya ang itinuturing na prinsesa ng pamilya. Hindi sila ganun kayaman pero maginhawa ang kanilang pamumuhay dahil na rin sa sipag at tiyaga ng kanyang mga magulang. She's studying in one of the most prestigious schools in Iloilo kaya super thankful talaga siya sa parents niya.

She is a big fan of Darren Espanto. Nagsimula ang lahat nung mapanuod niya ang audition nito sa isang Singing Contest sa TV. Hindi naman talaga siya mahilig manuod ng TV pero nang makita at marinig niya si Darren, every weekend inaabangan na niya ang naturang show. Pinahanga kasi nito ang lahat hindi lang sa magandang boses nito kundi pati na rin sa galing nito sa pagsayaw. He was born and raised in Canada pero magaling itong magsalita ng tagalog. Maganda ang pagpapalaki dito at ng little sister nito na si Lynelle ng mga magulang ng mga ito na sina Marinell at Lyndon. Bonus na lang talaga na sobrang bait at gwapo nito.

It's her first time to admire a certain artist. Hindi lang simpleng admiration ang tawag dito. Honestly, she's crazy about him. Lahat ng tungkol dito alam niya. She's updated through facebook, twitter, youtube and instagram. She, together with her friends even joined his official fans club, The DARRENatics. Kahit siya hindi makapaniwala that she's capable of admiring someone this deep. Malaki ang impluwensiya ni Darren sa kanya. Nag-iba pati choice of songs niya. Lahat yata ng kinakanta ni Darren nagiging favorite niya eh. Kahit sa mga gamit niya, mas evident na yung green dahil favorite color yun ni Darren kaysa sa pink na favorite color niya.
