"Mama I made a new friend, her name is Ava."

"That's amazing mija."

Sofia and I walked down the hallways of Greys Sloan while talking about any and everything.

I wonder if Arizona has children? Why was I thinking about her? The last time I did that I almost lost the future of medicine and I could never let that happen again.

"It's getting worse Mark." I explain.

"Just talk to her and tell her you have feelings for her." He takes a bite out of his apple.

"Woah, woah, woah. I don't have feelings for her." I protest.

"I mean you can't stop thinking and talking about her Callie." This was one of the few times where he calls me Callie, he's serious.

"I need to talk to her." I ran off to go on an adventure to find Arizona Robbins.

I checked the peds floor first and surprisingly she wasn't there. I did run into April on the way there and April said she was looking for me.

Why would she be looking for me?

This woman was going to make me go insane inside. I wanted to talk to her and everything but what she said to me was rude. Maybe I'm just overreacting, I mean her and April seem to be close but I'm pretty sure April likes men, how do I even know that Arizona likes girls.

"Callie! Callie wait up!" I hear from behind me and I turn around.

I see it's Arizona and turn the other way.

"Callie you're coming with me." She drags me into an empty on-call room.

"Woah, what are you doing?"

"Why are you ignoring me?" She asks locking the door.

"Because I do not wish to see you or speak to you."

"But why?" She throws her hands up.

"Because of what you said about me and Mark, Mark and I are not in a relationship and he has done nothing but care for me when others didn't."

"I could be there for you if you would let me."

"I don't need your help Arizona." I say trying to walk to the door but she stops me.

"No, I'm not letting you walk out on me again because I care about you Callie. I want to be there for you and I really hoped that we could be good friends and I still do because Callie Torres is always on my mind. I don't care about your past but I really hope that you can find it in your stone cold guarded heart to open it up for me because I think I am falling for a really nice looking person who goes by the name of Calliope Torres." She breathes out.

She was so close to me and our lips were a few inches apart. I took it upon myself to cup her face with my hands and kiss her. Her lips were so soft and gentle. She stiffened up a bit and soon eased into it.

"You've been on my mind a lot Arizona Robbins." I say as we part.

"Oh really?" She smiles that I couldn't sworn lit up the room.

"Yea, if you are off tomorrow night would you join me on a date that doesn't have to be a date, around 7?" I ask taking the risk.

"I would love to, can I see
your phone so I can put my number in?" She takes out her phone and hands it to me.

"Cute kid." I say looking at the picture of her and her daughter that look almost identical.

"I could say the same."

She hands me my phone and see that she put her contact down as "Arizona ❤️", she was too cute.

"Oh and one last thing, how do you know about my full name?" I ask.

"People talk Calliope." My government name rolled out of her mouth like the sweetest song ever.

We both left the room smiling.

"Why so happy Torres?" Mark comes up behind me.

"I have a date tomorrow night so it would be amazing if you could watch Sofia."

"You have a date with Robbins don't you, I taught you well, how did it all go down."

"Well she dragged me into an empty on-call room and-"

"No! Don't tell me y'all had sex already!" He cut me off.

"No, she told me what was and wasn't going to happen, she was so demanding and it was kinda sexy, then we kissed and let me tell you she's an amazing kisser, then I asked her out." I couldn't stop smiling.

"I'm happy for you Torres, what time is my daughter coming over?"

"Get there around 6:30."
