*Arizona*
one day later
We were back home at Callie's house and I've been dreading this day since Disney. I knew today was day where Ava went to spend the night with her father. Despite everything that's wrong with him, Robert has a soft spot for his daughter.
Ava leaving Sofia wasn't the easiest thing to do because they are always around each other. I knew that I was nervous because I was shaking.
"Ava, I need you to do Mommy a huge favor."
"What is it?"
"Your Daddy doesn't know about your Mama and I so please don't mention anything yet, I'm gonna wait until the right time."
"Is it because you think Daddy will hurt Mama and Sofia like he did all those people?" My daughter was one of the smartest 9 year olds that I knew.
I looked at her through the mirror. "Your father isn't dangerous sweetie, I know he won't hurt Mama of Sofia."
"But you think that he's going to get mad at you for being with other people?"
"You know me too well." By now we were at his house and for some reason I felt scared. Callie offered to drive me over there but I declined immediately.
I unloaded Ava's suitcase and walked up to the front door, ringing the doorbell.
"Daddy!" Ava jumps into his arms.
"I'm missed you so so much." He says hugging her and smiling. He only smiles around her.
"When can I get her back?" I hesitated.
"Pick her up on New Year's Eve." He looked at me with his grey eyes. "That woman that you were with, she was very pretty and I'd hate for something bad to happen to her." He gives a devilish smirk
"If you lay one hand on her you will get life in prison."
He just laughed. I went into his house and Ava one last kiss goodbye, and drove back home.
It wasn't going to be easy in the future when I'm driving Ava around town to live with one of her three parents, four if you wanted to count Mark.
I drove back to my house and called Callie.
"Hello?"
"Hey, I just wanted to ask how's Sofia doing?"
"She's good, she's asking for you." She paused. "I've been thinking about something for awhile now."
Proposal? More babies? Breakup? "Yea, what is it?" I was nervous, I knew I was.
"I want you to move in, then we are really like a family."
She wanted me to move in with her. Her birthday was in like a week and I wanted to give her a promise ring and now she already wants to move in. Ava wouldn't find out until she gets home and by then her home will be at Callie's house.
"Arizona I'm sorry, we don't have to move on or we can move into your house or we can-"
"Callie." I cut her off.
"Yes."
"Move into my house, as soon as you possibly can."
I heard her let out a small laugh through the other side of the phone, my favorite sound. "Well I already got a moving truck and I already started packing most of our stuff so-"
"I'm sorry to cut you off again love, but my pager is going off 911 so I'll call you later." I hung up and made my way to the hospital.
*Callie*
I couldn't get mad at Arizona for ending the call because I've done that to so many people more times than I can count of my two hands, but I really just wanted to hear her voice and make sure she was ok.
Hopefully Robert didn't scare her when she dropped of Ava. AVA. She going to come home with us already moved into her home. Maybe that's why she wanted to move into her house, but how would that make it better if we are already there and moved in? Arizona is smart and she hopefully knows what she's doing. If they moved into my house, which was a bit smaller, then all they would have to do it pack their stuff and unpack it here.
I picked up the brown boxes and started packing up a bunch of objects that were placed for decoration purposes. I started unpacking pictures that were in the living room. It was a lot of family pictures with Mark, Sofia, and I. There were a few of me with my family when I was a baby.
I moved into my room next.
I successfully got 2 drawers cleared out of my 2, 4 drawer dresser. I came across a picture of Arizona that someone took and had I got it framed. She was truly a goddess. God, her smile was so gorgeous.

After the trauma, I decided to head back to Callie's house to bring her her favorite doughnuts because I know I couldn't help it, but I hated being cut off in a conversation so even if she wasn't mad at me I still wanted to do something for her.
I took my key and let myself in to a strangely quiet house. I sat the doughnuts down and walked around.
"Callie!" I call out. No answer. Don't panic, her car is still here.
I checked Sofia's room and saw her under her cover asleep. Callie was really packing because she had full boxes already.
I knocked on her closed door but there was no response once again so I let myself in.
My sleeping beauty had fallen asleep while packing what looks like picture. A few of them were out. They were pictures of Callie and I together, the box was labeled "my sunshine, my only sunshine." She was so cheesy but so adorable. I picked up a framed picture.
It was from the very beginning of our relationship and it just so happened one of our friends got it on camera. I went through it some more and saw she had a few pictures of me and I have to admit, I look pretty good in them, but not nearly as good as my Callie.I kissed her forehead and finished packing the rest of her clothes for her. I loved Callie's sense of style and how her clothes fit me oversized but comfortable. I packed up rest of her first drawer before she comes behind me and wraps her arms around my waist.
"Thank you for helping me." Her voice sounded as if she had just woken up and I loved it.
"I brought you doughnuts." I turn around and wrap my arms around her neck.
She gives me a gorgeous smile that I could look at all day.
"Hold on." She then picks me up with her strong ortho muscles and drags we into the kitchen to get doughnuts.
