How the hell did I just let Arizona go like that? I was in love with her and I just let her go. I had to remain focused on work though.

Then I got a page from work. It was about Sofia.

I ran as fast as I could without getting hit by a car.

Arizona was in the room reading something off the computer. She was so focused she didn't even notice I came in.

I checked her out and made sure she wasn't hurt.

I lost Arizona and for all I know I could lose my daughter. I love those two people more than life and I wouldn't be able to survive without them.

Arizona took her to another room and brought her back within 10 minutes.

"She has gastroenteritis, or the stomach flu, she will need to take these antibiotics and she's also contagious so I suggest you take her home." Arizona didn't look up once at me. She just handed me the paper and a mask for Sofia. She was talking to me as if I wasn't a doctor.

"Thank you Doctor Robbins." I would've hugged her but right now it didn't seem appropriate.

I grabbed Sofia's hand and walked her out the hospital. I would have to take the rest of the week off.

"Mama, can Ava and Arizona come over?"

"Maybe next week, you're contagious baby and we don't need anyone else getting sick."

"Ok, I really like Arizona she's nice, she looks a lot like Ava."

"Yea, I really like her too baby." I like her a lot more than I should.

We got to my house and my immediate thought was to tell Arizona that I got home safely.

Then I remembered. Christmas was 6 days away. Usually Meredith and Little Grey throw a party but they haven't said anything about it yet.

Sofia went upstairs to her room and I laid out on the couch. I decided to call my second closest person I knew, Mark.

M: "What's up Cal?"
C: "I need you to watch Sofia for me, she has the stomach flu."
M: "Where are you going?"
C: "To Meredith's house, dad."
M: "Point taken, I'll be there soon."

I hung up and went to find Sofia. She was in her room on her side.

"Daddy is coming to watch you while I go help your Aunt Meredith plan her Christmas party."

"I don't want to see Daddy."

"Well I can't leave you here by yourself so who do you want to see?"

"Arizona."

She gets attached to people so easily, almost just like me. When Erica left she was all over the place, I ended up having to take her to therapy for a good week and a half.

"Listen mija, as you know Arizona and I are very close friends, Mama did something that she wasn't proud of today so Arizona doesn't want to see me right now but I'm sure she would love to hear from you."

"Well I still love you Mama."

"I love you too, so so much." I kissed her forehead and Mark started clapping from the doorway.

Sofia got from the bed and hugged him.

at meredith's house

"So let's say, there was a person and you and that person aren't on speaking terms right now, but you still have strong feelings for that person, what would you do?" I ask. All the sisters were over here.

"Are you talking about Arizona?" Maggie questions.

"How did you know?"

"Well you both seem close, plus the day you two walked in together she has light hickies on her neck." Meredith says.

"Also you too are both hot so it works." Amelia states. Sometimes it was hard to believe she was straight.

"I didn't come to talk about Arizona, well I did but I also wanted to talk about your Christmas party because it's in like a week." I say.

"Well I was hoping someone else would plan it and I just have it at my house." Meredith explains.

"Let Amelia, Maggie, and I plan it." I suggest.

"I'm already typing the invitation." Maggie opened up the laptop and started typing away.

"Time?" She asks.

"6:30." Amelia replies.

"Things to bring?"

"Food, drinks, themselves, an appetite, gifts, music, anything needed for a party." I say.

"We want Christmas Day right?"

"Of course, too many people have kids." Amelia was mainly talking about Meredith.

"Speaking of those, where will they stay?" I ask.

"They will stay upstairs." Meredith states.

"Let's invite the whole hospital!" Maggie suggests.

"I don't need all those people in my house." Meredith says.

"I'll invite everyone we know, which is everyone but not everyone."

"Back to Arizona and Callie." Amelia says. "I think the solution to your problems is an on-call room."

"I agree." Maggie says.

"She's not talking to me and you want me to havesex with her?"

"It's called makeup sex daring." Amelia smirks.

"First I need to apologize then I'll think of some others things that can be arranged."
