It wasn't my intention to get that drunk last night but I really didn't want to feel anything.

I realized I didn't have enough eggs or milk for the pancakes so I just recommend we went out to eat as a whole family, that's not really a family, but I wish we could become a family.

"Girls, we are going to eat out for breakfast this morning so in a few minutes get on your shoes and jackets."

They both said ok and I went to my room to change out. It took a while for me to realize that I had on Callie's tank top. Maybe we did have sex last night. Sex with her would've been amazing.

I started getting undressed and Callie came in and immediately closed her eyes but I know she looked me up and down.

"Do you need anything?" I asked pulling the skinny jeans over my legs.

"No I just wanted to hug you."

She was too cute. I finished getting dressed and walked into the bathroom leaving her standing in the doorway. She soon figured out that I moved and she followed me into the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth.

"Let me brush your hair for you." She grabs the brush from the counter.

She gently brushes my hair and kisses my neck a couple times. What were we doing? I've wanted so bad to just be friends with her but friends with benefits seems like a lot right now.

"Wear your hair down." She says before kissing me and walking out the bathroom. There were red and slightly purple marks on my neck. How was I supposed to hide these when my sister comes back in town tomorrow?

Pushing that thought to the back of my head I finished getting ready and grabbed my keys.

"Let's go." I called out and everyone came to the door. Callie was holding both girls on each of her strong hips.

Callie got them set in the backseat and then came to the front.

"Thank you." I say reaching and grabbing her hand.

"Anytime, where are we going?"

"A restaurant for breakfast."

I could feel her giving me a look but I laughed it off.

We got to the diner at 10 and that left time for us to be at work by 2.

The girls were in their own little world even though they were sitting right across from us.

"Mama?" Sofia calls out.

"Yes mija?"

"Can we come over and have sleepovers more often?"

"I would have to see how Arizona feels about that." She turned to face me.

"That would be lovely." I replied and the girls were smiling harder than ever.

"I'm sure we would enjoy ourselves more than them." Callie came in close and whispered in my ear.

I could've sworn I stopped breathing for a spilt second.

The check came and a couple minutes later our pagers went off 911.

We grabbed the girls and ran to the car, luckily the hospital was a short distance away.

Callie and I dropped the girls off and daycare and we went to see what was going on. It was three kids who got into a terrible biking accident. One of them had part of the bike lodged into their leg.

Callie and I went to the girl who was in worse shape and let the other doctors go to the other ones.

"My name is Doctor Robbins and this is Doctor Torres, can you tell me your name honey?" I needed to make sure she could still speak.

"M-Michaela." Her voice was weak.

"Ok Michaela, we are going to do everything we can to help you, where's your family?" I checked her vitals.

"J-John called them." She tried to point to the room next to us.

"Sweetie, I'm gonna give you something to help with the pain because this will hurt." Callie says smiling at the little girl. She was so good with kids.

The girl nods and relaxes a bit.

Callie didn't talk to me or the girl while she was doing her work so I moved to check on the other two children. I first went to a boy named John who looked to be no older than 12.

"John, did you call that girls parents?"

"Yes, they said they were on their way to this hospital." Doctor Avery was working on some cuts across his face.

"How exactly did this happen?"

"We were crossing the street and we weren't looking to see that we weren't supposed to cross and a car came, Lex pushed me away but there was not enough time for Michaela." He started to cry when we was explaining.

"It's ok to cry I'm sure-" I was cut off by a frantic Callie.

"Arizona I need you in here!" She yells.

Our patient was crashing.

"There's something from the bike in her leg and I need to get it out now or she loses the leg."

"She's not stable enough to go into surgery Callie."

"Doctor Robbins I'm taking her into surgery and if it gets bad I will cut off the leg." She says more stern that even as a couple doctors come in and take her up.

"OR 2 please, you're welcome to come watch." She tells the doctors and then me.

Callie was extremely focused on her work when it was time to work.

I checked on the other boy and then made a few more rounds to check on my other patients.

I ran into Teddy on the way.

"Welcome Teds, how is your first day?" I pulled my hair back forgetting what Callie told me.

"It's been pretty good, how was the morning after?"

"You're saying that like we had sex."

"If you look at your neck you probably wouldn't think twice about it." She smirked and gets into the elevator.
