*Arizona*

I had a good 6 hours left of my 48 hour shift and I couldn't be more happy.

"Doctor Robbins!" I hear someone call.

"Hey Lexie, is this for me." She's holding a sealed letter.

She hands me the letter smiling and walks away. The front of it read "Arizona" in Callie's handwriting.

I wasn't too busy so I could read it now.

Arizona,

I don't know how to feel or what to feel. I'm not sure if I should be mad or if I should be happy that you told me when I was out of my coma. I don't have many words to say because I don't know how I feel. I guess I need time and or space to process this.

I can move my left leg and I can finally feel it so it shouldn't be much longer before I move back into your house but once I get my strength back I can stay or Sofia and I can move back into my apartment, I know those two are a lot to handle sometimes.

Tell Ava and Sofia that I love them. Sorry this was short but we can talk it out in person. I could never hate you.

                                                      -Callie

"Close your mouth, you'll get flies." Carina snaps me into reality.

"Come with me." I pull her into the attending's lounge not even bothering to fully close the door.

"Have you talked to Callie?" She sat across from me.

"I wrote her this long letter and she gives me a fraction of what I wrote her, there's no real emotion in this."

"I don't want to be what you Americans call, nosy so please just give me the details."

"I told her about whole situation and how much I love her and miss her and she says to tell the kids that she loves them, she could never hate me, and that when her training was over she could move back into her apartment."

"I thought you moved everything out of her apartment and into your house." She raised an eyebrow.

"We did, there's so way they could live there."

She ran her fingers through her wavy hair as if she was trying to process everything and find the right words to say. I had no idea what to say.

"Your shift is almost over right?"

I nod.

"Then go in there and just talk but don't do that thing where you say at least 100 words in under a minute and you never know when to stop." She grins.

"I actually do that?" I was laughing myself.

"Yes, you really do, now go talk to your girl."

This is why Carina is my best friend. I could count on her for literally anything and she knows that she can count on me.

6 dreadful hours later

It didn't look good for more than half of my patients, a few hours ago a patient was in here because of a headache and the scans showed a brain tumor.
