*Callie*
I grabbed the doughnuts and finally let go of Arizona and sat her on the kitchen counter.
"I see someone is ready to move in with me." She smirks looking at all the boxes.
The truth was I was so excited to move in with her. I wanted to wake up every morning next to her and go to sleep every night with her.
"Don't get cocky." I say before taking a bite out of my doughnut. I couldn't help but maon at how good it tasted.
"I'm sure you'll be doing a lot more of that soon enough." She whispered into my ear.
So many things could've happened if Sofia hadn't came in.
"Mama, are we moving?" She asks.
"Yes baby, but come and sit I have a question to ask you."
By now Arizona was in a chair and Sofia climbed in my lap. "How would you like it if we moved in with Arizona and Ava?"
"Like permanent sleepovers?"
"We would be living with each other and we would get to see each other everyday, are you ok with permanent sleepovers?" Arizona asks.
I could see that in Sofia's eyes she was thinking. I couldn't blame her, she was only young and had no experience with a family like ours moving in with a family like theirs. Then she nodded and smiled.
Arizona and I went in to give her a tight hug. "You guys are the best mommies over." She says and then goes back to her room with a doughnut.
Next to me I saw Arizona wiping a tear that fell from her right eye, that meant it was happiness. (look it up)
"Are you ok?" I reached for her hands and kissed them.
"Yes, I just love this family that we've built together."
"I love it too, now if you don't mind, I would love it if you helped me pack up the guest bedroom." I suggest.
I didn't want to say anything but something with Arizona seems off. When she was about to drop off Ava she was shaking.
"I remember when we first met and we stayed the night in I think my guest room or yours and I remember being completely wasted." Arizona laughs packing up clothes from the dresser.
Something was definitely off. She's stalling, using past memories to stop what's going on in the real world. I needed to get to the bottom of this.
"Arizona, stop packing and sit with me for a moment."
"Hmm, I thought you wanted me to help?"
I sighed. "I do, but is something wrong? You don't seem like yourself."
She paused what she was doing. "It's just, the whole coming out to your family thing hasn't left my mind."
That's what this whole overprotective mood was about? "Would you like to know about my Aunt or something, I'm telling you Arizona it's fine, I have you're family and we can visit my Aunt anytime-"
"No, let's stay here, you stay here." She cut me off. This wasn't like Arizona at all.
"Ok, what the heck is going on with you, why are you so over protective?" I tried not to raise my voice at her because if I did I probably wouldn't be able to control what comes out of my mouth.
"Because I care about you Callie and I don't want anything to happen to you." She was now yelling at me
"I care about you too but I'm not acting like this, what has gotten into you?"
"Now so suddenly it's wrong to care about my girlfriend? I didn't know that being protective and caring was a crime, you might as well arrest me!"
"I don't need protecting." I say low before walking out and before I could close the door Arizona came running behind me.
"Please! PLEASE DONT LEAVE!" She was now screaming at me while I had my hand on the doorknob.
"I need air before I break something, I'll be back I promise." I got into my car and turned on the engine.
I don't know where I was going but I had to get away for at least and hour.
The park. I could go to the park. I kept going as soon as the light turned green but then I car on the other side came out of nowhere and that's when everything went black.
