high school had now ended and everyone was having their last party at cheryl's, she was celebrating her last night together with everyone as she was leaving for new york to study for fashion.
people were dancing to the loud music with each other, others played spin the bottle or beer pong and some were outside making out or smoking.
cheryl was going round everyone, saying her goodbyes to them personally and then finally she came to you.
"y/n, let's go outside to talk so it's a little quieter." she says, she takes your hand and leads you outside the house to say her goodbye.
"y/n, i'm definitely going to miss you the most." cheryl admits, a sad smile growing on her lips. "you helped me and always supported me and i really don't want to lose you as a friend..." tears start dripping down her face and she struggles to finished her sentence.
"shhh." you wrap your arms around her and feel your eyes water up a little too, "it's ok we'll keep in contact, i'll never lose you as a friend."
"promise?" she lifts her head.
"promise."
