today is colby and i's first date. i'm very excited but also nervous. i haven't liked anybody like this in a longgg time. i've only ever had two boyfriends before. one of which was abusive and one that lived in new york that didn't want to do long distance. i've had little flings with guys as well but only 2 serious relationships.

my ex boyfriend brad (pictured above) lives in new york. as you can tell, he's a model. he was so so sweet and i'd probably still be with him had we done long distance. brad and i still talk quite often but he has a new girlfriend anyways

this is my other ex, bryce. bryce physically and emotionally abused me. he used to go out and cheat on me with any girl he could find. he didn't even try to cover it up. he'd go out with his friends and come back smelling like cheap perfume and covered in hickies. he would always tell me that i wasn't enough and that he was too good for me. he would say i didn't deserve him and i should be grateful he was with me. when he was drunk, he'd hit me. he was very controlling, always deleting boys numbers from my phone and telling me what i can and can't wear.
anyways, tonight is mine and colby's first date which is very exciting. i really really like colby.
i'm getting ready right now to go on our date. we're going to disney and then out for dinner at a little fancy italian restaurant.
