"i'm so anxious right now. i wish she'd just wake up." tara said, rubbing her temples.

"she'll be okay. i promise baby." jake said to her, hugging her from behind.

i had barely said a word since i had found out about this wreck. i was so worried. the boys and i immediately got on a plane after we found out. we had gotten in early in the morning and headed straight to the hospital.

"she'll push through colby. the doctor said he's almost positive she'll make it." mike told me.

currently, mike, tara, jake and i are the only ones at the hospital. adelaides family and the rest of our friends went to chipotle so the hospital wasn't that crowded.

they had transferred us to a massive room since we had so many people with us. Ethan and his family flew out on their plane and brought adelaides mom, sister, brother and niece.

i was standing next to adelaides bed, holding her hand. a few tears fell down my face every now and then but i was really keeping it together... somehow.

i looked over at my beautiful girls face and saw her eyes flutter slightly... the only movement i had seen from her since i left.

"guys i think she's waking up!" i told them. tara rushed over to the other side of the bed and grabbed adelaides other hand.

"ad, baby, i don't know if you can hear me or not... but please, if you can, open your eyes for me. i need you here with me angel." i told her

"cmon ad... you've got this. you're the baddest bitch i know." tara smiled.

i felt adelaide squeeze my hand gently.

"did you feel that?!" i asked tara.

"i did." she smiled over to me

"ad. please do this baby. for me." i told her, kissing the back of her hand.

her eyes fluttered again before fully opening and then adjusting to the light.

"baby! oh my god." i smiled to her.

"who are you?" she asked, looking up at me, confused. my heart broke when she said that but i noticed she was about to talk again. "i'm just kidding baby." she laughed

as much as i was pissed that she did that, i broke out in a little laugh.

jake and mike were towards the end of the bed

"i missed you baby. you have no idea how worried i was." i smiled to her.

tara pressed the button for the doctor to come in while we all told her how much we missed her and asked her how she felt.

adelaides pov

"wait... you're supposed to be in england." i said, confused.

"we flew back for you babe. you're more important than any little youtube series." colby told me

soon enough, a doctor came into the hospital room.

"hi adelaide! it's great to see that you're up. i'm dr. nefanio. is there anything we can get you before we run any tests?" he asked me

"hi." i smiled. "can i actually get some water?" i requested.

"of course. i'll get a nurse to bring some in." he said

"what exactly happened?" i asked the doctor, assuming he'd know. he explained what had happened.

"oh... do you know who was in the other car? are they okay?" i asked dr nefanio.
