"happy birthday to ayla and luke! happy birthday to you." we all sang.
its ayla and luke's 1st birthday so tara and jakes families flew out for the party.
i was sitting, kinda in colbys lap on the couch.
"it's hitting me now that our kids will be one in just two months." i admitted to colby.
"less than two months." he replied.
"i don't want them to grow up but i love watching them grow up." i laughed.
"just means we'll have to have more." colby smirked.
"what?! really??" i smiled.
"i was thinking about what you said and i agree. i want to have more kids with you and why not do it now that we have our house and we're financially stable." he told me, kissing my forehead.
"i fucking love you." i smiled, leaning up to kiss him.
"i fucking love you too." he laughed.
"i can't believe the twins fell asleep so early." i told colby.
"i know... it's kind of relaxing." colby laughed.
"agreed. imagine when we have three under three." i laughed.
"adelaide! colby! how have you been?!" jakes mom said, sitting in the chair next to the one that colby and i were on.
"lora! how are you?" i asked, leaning in to hug her.
"you two must be busy with the twins, huh?" she asked me.
"definitely, but it's so worth it." i smiled.
"that's great to hear! i wish tara and jake felt that way." she laughed.
"what do you mean?" i laughed.
"they obviously love and take amazing care of ayla and luke but i have a feeling i won't be getting anymore grandchildren from jake. maybe ryan, reggie or jillian will." she laughed again.
"i wouldn't count on it... i'm surprised they had kids as it is." i joked.
lora sat and talked to us for a while longer before taras mom came over to us and she started to talk to us while lora went to see jake and luke.
december 24th
"it's your first christmas!" i smiled to grayson and violet.
colby and i went all out for christmas even though they're too little to understand. a lot of it was clothes and shoes though.

the indoor pool was finished about a week ago and it was beautiful. exactly what we wanted.

the movie theater and bar were the only things done on the very lowest floor.
we had our get together with all of our friends yesterday so the kids already got absolutely spoiled.
my mom was having a get together for everyone in the family tonight. that includes my brother ethan and his new girlfriend, aria. yes, the aria that has been one of my best friends since i was a little girl.
they were partnered together at my wedding and i guess they just hit it off from there and now they're dating.
i'm happy for both of them. they're really cute together.
